I wonder if it would be technically possible, while in wait mode, to speed up the clouds ? When using a mod that adds clouds, they keep normal speed while the sky speeds up, it looks weird. But it would just be a nice touch, if it was indeed feasible, otherwise it's just nick picking anyway !
Excellent mod, works like a charm ! Thanks for this !
I think that's way out of scope for me and you should ask the creator of the other mod instead.
There is a variable named Timescale (if I remember correctly) that rule the passing of time. I think it should be theoretically as easy as making the speed of clouds and weather depend of timescale. Sadly, since I have no idea how the weather work, I can't say for sure if it's easy or even doable.
And I’m not even sure it can be variable nor customized live ingame, since cloud speed is a setting in the config file… But indeed, maybe the weather mod creator could know ! In last resort, maybe people from OpenMW directly.
I’ll try asking, and in any case, like I said, it’s more of a detail anyway. Thanks for your answer =)
Just looked at it, I was wrong it should be my job not Markel9875's. To be honest I don't use this function much so I hadn't realized the problem ^^ but I agree it's weird, the problem is totally on my side.
I asked him for help and will try to find what I can do (by asking other people for help ^^).
I can't guarantee anything, I only know how to make mwscript, I don't use MWSE since I play with OpenMW and don't know lua either...
I’m on openMW too, maybe the biggest question is to know if it can be variable directly in game. Maybe also, if things can vary depending on the timescale, don’t the "skysphere" speed vary according to it ? Plus, there is a speed to modify for each type of cloud ! ^^ But all that is just the questioning of a neophyte, though lol
The more I think of it the more it seems overcomplicated, even if theoretically possible, for an aesthetic matter ^^ In any case, thanks much for considering the idea and looking into it !
Ouuuh interesting ! Nice abot, thanks ! I wonder what you got with this, Zefirotte, on OpenMW ? I just tested to modify my Morro’s .ini and import it in OpenMW from the launcher, but seems effectless for me.
Too bad, it would have been that easy ! ^^ So either it's not implemented, or it's not this way... At least that means it can totally work, that’s good news.
There is a command for that: "set ZEF_ActiveWaitStillTime to 30" Then save All the information is in the readme and there is also other thing you can customize. Tell me if it doesn't work
Hi, Sorry for the wait. I just tried downloading and opening the file and I had no problem at all. Could you please detail a bit your problem, what program did you use to open the file ?
