Stalhrim & Nordic Silver Weapons Restored
😊 Thanks to UnarmedTerrarianGaming and SmellyC, a long-standing bug
related to the Stalhrim Spear has been fixed for the release version 1.1 of this mod.
This is an edited version of Ghostnull's original mod for restoring Stalhrim Spear & Shortsword, plus Nordic Silver Spear weapons into the game.
There was an unused mesh for the Stalhrim Spear included in Bloodmoon. Unfortunately, it was unusable in its original form, as the mesh was messed up: its normals were flipped, i.e., inside-out. Ghostnull fixed the mesh and created a plugin which allows the player to obtain both the Stalhrim Spear as well as the Stalhrim Shortsword (another unused asset in the game, even though it didn't need fixing) by forging them during Bloodmoon'squests.
Additionally, the original plugin added the Nordic Silver Spear (also included with the expansion, but unavailable without the console) as an object, but didn't make it available in-game. So I added it to Brynjolfr, the Nord NPC that lives in Thirsk, as he already sold all available Nordic Silver weapons, except for such spear. Not anymore! An optional plug-in is also available that only restores this spear, not including any other Stalhrim weapons (and no changes to dialog).
❓ What is included?
- Just one plug-in: Stalhrim_Nordic_Silver_Weapons_Restored.esp, plus one fixed mesh.
- Alternatively, the plug-in Nordic_Silver_Spear_Restored.esp only restores such weapon and does not include the new Stalhrim weapons.
✅ List of restored weapons:
- Stalhrim Spear: can now be forged by acquiring Stalhrim during Bloodmoon's quests;
- Stalhrim Shortsword: can now be forged by acquiring Stalhrim during Bloodmoon's quests;
- Nordic Silver Spear: can now be bought (worn, much like every other weapon he sells) from Brynjolfr (Thirsk).
⚠️ Conflicts:
- Incompatible with Gogetto's Stalhrim Weapons by J.C. Spencer;
- Also incompatible with Expansion Integration by Dragon32.

- This mod is OpenMW-friendly!
