You can modify my file in any way (translations, compatibility patches, bugfixes, new features etc.) or use my file as part of your own project, with my permission, as long as you observe these rules:
- You should give me credit for my work - Donation points: you can choose from these options: 1. Not earn Donation Points for your work derived from mine (This option can be chosen regardless of what you do with my work) 2. Earn Donation Points for your work derived from mine, but set it up in a manner that I would receive 50% of your Donation Points (if it's a translation or a huge project that incorporates or greatly improves my mod) 3. Earn Donation Points for your work derived from mine, but set it up in a manner that I would receive 90% of your Donation Points (In case it's a bugfix, a compatibility patch, or some kind of other low-effort mod) - You can not use my assets in any mods/files that are being sold, for money, on Steam Workshop or other platforms - If my mod has a co-author, or uses assets by other modders, it is your responsibility to track them down and ask for their permissions too. In the vanilla Stronghold (Redoran) quest's second stage, you have the hire the Fighters' Guild to protect the construction site. The problem is that the price of hiring them is participating in a jailbreak, and breaking the law by either breaking out of prison with Percius' buddy (and most likely killing an Ordinator in the process) or stealing the key for her so that she could escape later on her own. These methods are not necessarily suitable for an honorable Redoran warrior. Therefore this mod offers a third option: Tell Percius to f*ck off, and allow you to hire the Fighters' Guild with money... like any normal person.
The price of the easy solution is relatively high, though: 1000 gold. (The same price you pay for hiring Fjorgeir in the similar Hlaalu stronghold quest.) Additional dialogue has been added in case you want to pay but don't have enough gold at hand, and one opportunity to change your mind once, and rather go with the jailbreak, after all. (If you elect the option of paying, Percius will tell you the price and asks you whether you're sure, having this information.)
The mod has been cleaned with both TESTool and TESAME, and has been tested extensively - there shouldn't be bugs or issues in its current form. It likely conflicts with mods that alter Percius Mercius' "hire guards" dialogue, which initiates his quest to help his buddy escape. Everything else should be fine.
