this was the only one of those 5 top favorite mods you sent me that i already had :) I actually still play SoC on PCSX2 every once in a while so i had to get this. I will always remember this old game informer magazine that asked the question on the front cover "Are video games art?" and it had Shadow of the Colossus as the cover. I would say that this right here is definitely art :)
Apologies for asking such a random question unrelated to your mod, but...do you know which replacer is giving your torch such nice looking textures in this screenshot of your mod? Despite all the texture replacers in my game, those decorative-looking rings on torches are still low-res, and it's been driving me a little crazy! I've searched myself for a mod that might retexture torches like what's in the screenshot, but didn't have much luck...
Hello, I'm the guy who took the screenshots, I went through the mod list I used and nothing really came up for the torches you're talking about, so I'm guessing it must have just been part of a expansive texture overhaul I used somewhere down the line. That's okay, I appreciate the response! My guess is that it's coming from a texture overhaul rather than a mod specifically for torches. I've looked through several, like Intelligent Textures, Enhanced Textures, Vanilla Plus, Connary's, etc, but can't find it. If I ever do, I'll edit this comment.
EDIT: I at least figured out which .dds file is used for those metal strips: Tx_metal_iron_rusty_strip_01.dds. Enhanced Textures and Connary's Textures have high-res replacements for this file but they aren't the same as what's in the screenshot (which I think looks better).
