Hi, this may or may not be a bug. There are spoilers for the mod for those that care. Might just be I can't find the NPC, might be that they have disappeared, not sure. I am having trouble finding Damania, it says she is meant to be in the vivec canton or in ebonheart. I have looked in both places all over and cant find her. This is for the quest where you are trying to find a councilor, after having persuaded duke dren that Telvanni will no longer use slaves. The journal says she is somewhere public to debate people. I have already talked to the first guy, the one working in the Vivec, Telvanni canton slave pens. Would really appreciate some help.
Edit: Went back to a previous save and chose to keep slavery, went to the argonian mission and killed the leader she-who-frees-slaves. Journal updated telling me to go talk to my advisor, did so but the dialogue about the twin lamps isnt progressing the quest to completion. Journal says ive killed her and found enough evidence of anti slave activity, and that i should go seek counsel from my advisor. Talk to him and he says i should go deal with the twin lamps movement the Telvanni way. Seems its messing up for me on both paths as of right now.
either vivec, the lizard's head (which is in the telvanni canton) or ebonheart, telvanni consulate
while i'm here I'd like to note that I haven't touched almost any of the scripting besides the main npc herself, and some dialogue. any of this npc disappearing stuff, or people not finding npcs - this is either a vanilla bug (which I'll fix) or user error (which I'll try to make a little more obvious).
I've played ROHT probably a dozen times with and without my mod and have never come across half these reported errors lol.
Thanks for the reply, just wanted to post an update, me not finding Damania was 100% a user error. I'm stupid and didn't check the inn. I thought I checked all the shops and such in the waistworks, somehow missed the inn. She's downstairs in the lizard's head for anybody who may have issues finding her as well. In my head given her political vibe and wanting to debate I thought she would be somewhere in the plaza area, and so focused a lot there. Went to the waistworks after and kind of just tore through it trying to find her, failed to check the inn.
Any idea about the slave path issue? Really hope that's not user error either. I've went through all the advisors available dialogue options making sure I didn't miss any new ones, and yeah still nothing. Do you need to do more than just kill the leader at the Argonian mission or something? Picked up the book on her body as well, and yeah the advisor seems stuck in the wrong dialogue to me.
You need the original ROHT esm to play this, but when you use both there are duplicates of Delasa Rethosa in Tel Mora. Can you just disable the Delosa from the original ROHT?
Had missing NPCs on two occasions. Rethosa after the summoning ritual, and Skink-In-Tree's-Shade after inviting him into the House (he wasn't in Tel Aruhn as he was suppose to be). Only got through this mod with console commands or I would've never progressed. I hope somebody does a bit of bug cleanup for this mod someday
Not sure if this is a bug, by design, or a fault with my mod-list, but Skink remains at Sadrith Mora and Edwinna remains at Ald-ruhn after finishing the quests to recruit them. Edwinna also appears outside The Hole in the Wall in Sadrith Mora, so there's in fact two copies of her in the world. I'm also unable to consult Llunela about having a Telvanni Teleport platform for Tel Azura -- instead she just tells me about my own teleport platform to the mainland in Tel Uvirith.
I have ROHT and the UL patch for it at the bottom of my load order.
Do I need to start a new character to play this mod? Are there any points of no return where you will be locked out of quests (e.g. being too far up in telvanni or mages guild).
OMG tysm for making this. I uninstalled the original because of Zubadaiah alone.
Since Therana (along with Gothren and Baladas) is one of the few Telvanni masters to "canonically" die in TES3, are there any plans for quests to replace her?
I'd been working on some ideas myself before I found this patch - basically I think there would be 3 potential claimants to Tel Branora and Therana's seat on the council when she dies. With each of the candidates having their pros and cons from his own political perspective, Aryon will turn to you for advice on which he (and Baladas if he's alive and on the council) will ultimately support (in any event when all's said and done, the rotten kwama eggs will be gotten rid of, and Tel Branora's egg mine will resume turning a profit):
* Darvasa Vedas - a pragmatic Telvanni climber who already lives at Tel Branora and acted as a go-between for Mollimo and Therana, and so is already involved in Tel Branora's defence and political ecosystem. Backed by Dratha and Neloth. Aryon has no strong dislike of her personally, but is kinda judging her by the company she keeps. He's long been at odds with Dratha and Neloth but now that you've helped his faction ascend, it may behoove him to show grace in victory to the more conservative Telvanni. Her mouth would be Fedosi Drel - Dratha's very happy to back two women to take Tel Branora and its associated council seat. * Bols Indayn - he could serve as the sort of "continuity" candidate, as well as the dark horse candidate. Felisa Ulessen's grown accustomed to navigating the sensibilities of particularly mad magelords and wants somebody in Tel Branora who's pliable to her and on whose behalf she can continue to wield political power with minimal oversight. Tel Branora's residents may be less thrilled to have the rule of mad mages perpetuated, though. Mouth would be Felisa Ulessen, obviously. After helping her identify Bols as her new figurehead, you may act as a go-between to secure Aryon's backing for Felisa's cause. * Lliban Drenim - related to Galas and Mavon Drenim, and like them, he's a leader among the Ascadian Telvanni who the rest of the House shun as overly imperialised. Viewing the death of nearby Tel Branora's lord as a rare opportunity to expand their influence and improve their standing in the House, they're determined to shoot their shot - especially with Mavon's assassination weakening their hold over the Telvanni canton in Vivec. Aryon is inclined to sympathise with Lliban but is weighing the political pros and cons of formally sponsoring an already-weakened Drenim clan vs. remaining conciliatory to the old guard led by Neloth and Dratha. Might have an Altmer or Bosmer as mouth.
If you choose to urge Aryon to back Darvasa Vedas, the whole situation will be resolved peacefully, since the entire Sadrith Mora council has settled on a single candidate. You may even bring Dratha and Neloth around on supporting Bols and Felisa if they like you. But you'll absolutely end up having to resolve a mini-civil war in Tel Branora against Darvasa's supporters if you back Lliban Drenim.
I'm thinking you could go around to your allies in the house to solicit aid - Fast Eddie for example will point you to a Nordic warrior from Balmora he made sure to ingratiate himself with back when he was living in exile from the other Telvanni, in case he ended up needing protection from Dratha, Neloth and/or Gothren's goons. Obviously now that he's your mouth and protected by you as his patron, he doesn't need her protection and will transfer her debt to him, to you. Baladas might spare you an abducted Deathshead legionnaire he's been using as a guinea pig in his research into mind control (not out of the generosity of his heart mind you; a recluse like Baladas just doesn't get many opportunities to test the range of his magic). And so on until you have a little temporary army assembling where Trerayna Dalen and her goons once did, to face off against Darvasa who's taken control of the tower forcibly and the mercenaries Dratha and Neloth supplied her with to do it.
Can someone tell me where the vampire dude’s sister is at? I feel like I might be on the right track (Shusk Barrow) but whenever I use the unveil spell nothing happens? Is shusk barrow the right place? Or is the correct location somewhere else?
Too late but through some digging I figured it out. 1. The note and key he gives you leads you to Frossel in Solstheim which is right next to the Skaal village along the coast. There's a pig pen at the end of it past which you can find a fancy looking small box at the very end of the cave.
2. Second note leads you to a place that doesn't exist next to Ghostgate, on the little hill where the couple Dunmer are camping. I just accessed that place with coc "ramoran ancestral tomb"
3. Third note leads you to the secret library in the Vivec hall of justice. You go to the office of the watch and there's a hatch below the rug. Once inside, there are some funny wall ornaments next to the woman in there, one of those is a container.
4. Fourth note leads you to the cave below Ebonheart where you can find the Lord's Mail. If you levitate up to the ledge with the bedroll there's a door that doesn't exist, I accessed the place with coc "ebonheart, oubliette"That's where you finally find her.
I have no idea what the "unveil spell" is, but I imagine that would show you the two non-existent areas. Insanely sadistic quest, honestly. I would say it's genuinely impossible.
You are a legend. I have no idea how you figured all this out but I am glad you shared how to finish this. I really have to wonder why the doors to those places just don't exist? Whatever the case, thank you for posting.

In my next update I will change this journal text to be more clear. I appreciate the report.
Skink-- his disappearance comes back later

The original readme of ROHT says that there is some unsolved critical conflict.
Any idea what kind of conflict?
