I always thought that if I was the Nerevarine, I would love to live to the south of Ebonheart, near the lake. It would be nice to have a home there with a garden, and access to the small lake where I could swim. No one would bother me there, I would be free to tend my garden, swim in the lake, and enjoy the pastoral, green, and lush Ascadian Isles Region. However, if I wanted I could access the town of Ebonheart after a small walk.

This mod is a Chargen mod. You start the game in your home, which is (you guessed it) a small cottage to the south of Ebonheart, next to the lake. The home is yours since the beginning of the game. How did you get it? That's up to you to imagine: Maybe you work in Ebonheart as a mercenary for the East Empire company, and the company gave it to you so that you can be in the vicinity, if needed, maybe you inherited it from your unknown parents, maybe you are a Legion veteran who settled down there after serving the in the Emperor's army for years. Either way, you would have a place in Morrowind to call home, where you can always return after a day of adventure.

Features of the mod:

- A new player home
- A brand new chargen experience: Start the game in your home to the south of Ebonheart
- A new way to start the Main Quest: A courier will deliver the letter and the package to you to your home
- A short warm-up quest before that: Take care of a rat which took up residence in your garden, among your beautiful flowers
- A new item, (as a reward for the warm-up quest) which might be useful for a low-level character

Features of the player home:

- A small cottage, hopefully modest enough for a low-level character, but also useful
- A bed, a small alchemy lab, (rather a workbench, really) three bookshelves, and a separate storage room (half a dozen chests, a closet and a table)
- Some items here and there that may be useful at the beginning of the game
- A garden with beautiful flowers and access to the lake
- An item for teleporting home, if you need

Disclaimer: This is my first attempt at making a player home, so don't expect the Taj Mahal palace. Probably there are better player homes out there, but I wanted one in that particular location.

Bugs and Compatibility:

The mod should be bug free, and clean. It is compatible with any Main Quest mod, such as Nationalist Nerevarine.

Also, it is compatible with any mods that add something into that specific cell where the home is, unless they add it exactly to the same location inside the cell where the home is. (Vampire realism and Ebonheart outskirt 'n' Lighthouse district has been tested, the former adds an Imperial Crypt into that cell, where the player may awake once they become a vampire, while the latter expands the town of Ebonheart into that direction, adding a lighthouse and several houses there. Both mods worked fine together with this one.)

Obviously, it is not compatible with other chargen mods, such as The Tempest, Nerevarine Unchained, Royal Chargen or Chargen Revamped.

However, it is compatible with Chargen mods that instead of modifying the vanilla Chargen scripts, work with the usage of separate MWSE scripts such as Merlord's Character Backgrounds, or Merlord's Starting equipment. (Both has been tested.)

To Begin:

Start a new game with the mod enabled.
