Thanks. It's probably "done" as I completed the most glaring quest issues I could find and no one has suggested anything since. If I ever get more feedback/requests on specific quests I might go back and add more changes.
Sounds really good! Do you plan on changing the journal entry for Mehrunes Dagon's quest? "[T]he Alas tomb, near Molag Mar" is probably the single worst set of directions in the game.
I do, but the extent depends entirely upon how much feedback I get since I'm not an expert on the game. Your post is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm hoping people can point me to quests with bad directions so I can take a closer look and try to improve them. So thanks! :D
The current release was a very formulaic process but it took me about two days. The rest is going to be a lot more work. Especially since I have to decide whether or not to change some directions as some I feel are meant to be a challenge or puzzle, while others are just vague for no reason.
No, I'm only just getting back to modding Morrowind and I'm more familiar with modern Bethesda modding tools, so carrying over changes is beyond me at the moment. I'll try and get those fixes moved over though.
I looked around and apparently there are no tools close to xedit. I've tried a few but nothing lets you compare changes side by side like that. PfP is an esm also, so changes it makes aren't tagged with * in the construction set, so the easiest way to do this is go through all of the change logs for that mod. Not high on my priority right now since most/all of those changes are minor typo fixes.
