This mod makes it so that when you have done enough quests to achieve the next rank in a faction, the quest giver will not give you any more quests until you have attained the next rank. If you have the requisite skills, they will tell you that you are ready for advancement, otherwise they will tell you they have don't have any currently have any quests for someone of your rank and that you should work on your skills.

In other words, this mod forces you to advance through the ranks as you complete quests for a faction. There are some higher level quests that are locked behind certain ranks in vanilla Morrowind and this mod significantly expands on that immersive feature.

There are some exceptions:
The Imperial Cult - The Imperial Cult doesn't function like any other guild and I left it alone.
House Telvanni - I didn't make this change for the Telvanni for lore reasons.
Ajira - Ajira will not stop you doing minor tasks around the Balmora Mages Guild to tell you to rank up since she doesn't have the authority to make such judgments.
High Faction Ranks - There are exceptions once you reach the upper echelons of the various factions for several reasons. Generally people do not have the authority to promote you above themselves so they will not force you to in order to do their quests. You are not forced to become the leader of a faction before doing all of the available quests. Finally, vanilla quests with rank requirements aren't interfered with.

A note on using this mod with Tamriel Rebuilt: This mod is compatible with Tamriel Rebuilt, but it is possible to get around the restrictions when doing quests on the mainland. The only problem this would cause is you may have some catching up to do with your skills before you can do more quests on Vvardenfell. At this time I don't plan to make a version to extend this mod for quests from Tamriel Rebuilt as their implementation is less consistent.

Mods that add quests to factions: This mod is very likely to be compatible with any mods that add quests to the various factions, however please let me know if you find any conflicts so that I may make note of them.
