Anyone experiencing issues with the invisibility shader popping in after alt-tabbing... This is an issue with MGE XE and is not something I can easily fix in this mod. I will look into it, but there is no need to continue reporting this. I'm aware.

If you experience this issue, please try updating to V1.1. Make sure to install the newest version of MGE XE beforehand.

Its not working. I have MGE XE and MWSE latest and installed the mod. Others in Magicka Enhanced are working perfect but not this one. When I cast the spell "Hide" which gives invisibility, its just normal invisibility, no special effect.
    EDIT: Fixed it.

How did you fix it? I'm experiencing the same problem.

For me, I had to enable shaders in MGXE for it to work

That did it. Guess shaders are all disabled by default in MGE XE!

      thanks!

For anyone else for whom the green effect is not showing up in game: you may have to enable shaders in MGXE:

Super cool. The only downside is that like some other people have mention I also get the effect when I alt tab out and into the game for some reason. Anyone know a solution to this?

For anyone experiencing this or other mod effects appearing after alt-tabbing, it's a common issue with MGE XE and can be fixed by using borderless window (option available in MGE XE) instead of fullscreen.

    Is there an openMW version?

Your question is the same as asking: "Is there a version of gasoline engine that can run on diesel fuel?"... This is an MGE XE mod and the foundations of this mod are built upon it.

This is awesome! Love the effect. It's especially nice seeing it while standing in a lightning storm. :-)

I like to use the chameleon effect too since it stays on even when you interact with things..

How hard would it be to add this effect to both chameleon and invisibility?

Thanks so much for this addition to the game! And without an esp. Nice.

Me and my game are probably "special", but anyone else find that if you alt-tab out of the game, upon returning to said game, it makes this mod's effect permanent? Even if you weren't invisible at the time?! (Until restarting game)

This sounds like an issue with MGE XE, which controls the invisibility shader. It may be turning them back on when you tab in, and the mod cannot track that to hide it again.

Well, since MGE XE and your mods, (especially the ones that work with it) are like magic to me, I'll just nod and smile lol.
Sounds like there's nothing I did wrong in the settings, etc then. I now have a way to see your effects all the time :-)

Speaking of all the time. It bothers me that when I click on things, invisibility goes away, therefore your effects.

Is there an (easy?) way to add this effect to chameleon when I use that as well?  That would be lovely.

Sorry to ask for something... Thanks for this and all your awesome mods!

You could fairly easily replace the effect so that it works on chameleon instead of invisibility. Just open the code files and replace instances of tes3.effect.invisibility with tes3.effect.chameleon. Should work.

"You could fairly easily replace the effect so that it works on chameleon instead of invisibility. Just open the code files and replace instances of tes3.effect.invisibility with tes3.effect.chameleon. Should work." - Well, it would be great if you make and upload a version that implements your cool, LotR-like Invisibility shader effect to BOTH Invisibility AND Chameleon effects in Morrowind.
Btw thank you, the mod works well for me, provided it is properly installed and the Invisibility shader is also properly applied AND SAVED in MGEXEgui.exe.

sometimes it pops up after alt-tabing w/o casting it. and only way to get rid of it is to cast invisibility and do something. think I got the order of shaders wrong. anyhow - bit annoying

HELP! I've installed and edited the modding section of shader setup but when I'm in game there is no "green" effect on the screen, it only shows the shaders of undead and daedra while invisible, what do I do?

Nevermind, I'm an idiot, forgot to check Enable shaders box on mgexe...

This effect is spectacular and how you presented it in the video with spooky soundtrack and everything is pretty sick. It' also practical since on vanilla it was hard to notice when invisibility expires while having first-person view. Mod files overlap with some of OOAB files but they are in different directories so I guess it's fine.

The file is titled Inivisibility, which should probably be Invisibility.
