Can you tell me if there is a difference between mwse lua dev and MWSE 2.1 nightly build/MWSE 2.1 Beta as far as using this mod is concerned?

I'm following the Morrowindsharp guide and it tells you to install MWSE 2.1 Beta and later Smart Ammo but doesn't mention mwse lua dev.
Are those versions interchangeable, can both be installed or is one preferred over another?

I'm brand new at modding, so my understanding is still limited and I couldn't find an answer anywhere online.

It's the same thing, in early stages it was sometimes called dev but since when updates are automatic running MWSE-Update.exe there is no difference you get it from the same repository.

      Thanks for speedy reply!
I'm guessing that holds true for every MWSE flavor listed on Nexus.

I recently sold some iron arrows that I'd alt-added to be my preferred ammo. Upon saving game I got an error saying the arrows could not be found. It only stopped happening once I selected another preferred ammo.

Thanks, I will take a look at it for next version (I'm adding a new feature for automatic ammo pickup order "0 = no order, 1 = less valuable first, 2 = more available first, 3 = less available first, 4 = more valuable first")
[EDIT] ok, give updated version a try

Hey, I noticed that all your MWSE mods contain a lib.lua file in the same folder, but it's different in every mod. Does it matter which one is used?

the one library file in the last published mod is the more up-to-date, but they should be backward compatible (e.g. new mod requires new lib, older mod should work with new lib too), so better just to use the last released lib

Ok, thank you. So, if for some reason a newer mod is used with an older lib it will simply not work at all?

it depends if the newer mod is using something that is only in the new lib/working differently in the new lib compared to the old lib, but as general rule, new software using new lib features requires the new lib.
(in mod terms, think about it like Tamriel_Data.esm = new lib, if new Tamriel_Data.esm could be also compatible with older Mods. So you could hypothetically use e.g TR_Mainland1807.esm with the new Tamriel_Data1912.esm, but TR_Mainland1912.esm would probably not work with old Tamriel_Data1807.esm)
