Artifacts Redone is a mod designed to change the artifacts in morrowind to be more fitting of their descriptions and to make them more valuable. It also adds a new quest to obtain an artifact lost to the ages. The mod also feature some tweaks relating to artifacts. The mod also only uses vanilla assets.
Changes:
New Quest: Help Drelayn, a battlemage at the docks of Khuul, find the legendary Wings of the Queen of Bats (Higher Levels)
Dragonbone Cuirass - Changed the resist fire enchantment to fire shield - Added More Protection Around
SpellBreaker - Buffed Reflect
Lord's Mail - Added Absorb Health
Auriel's Shield - Added Fire and Magicka Protection - Stronger Carrier
Staff of Magnus - Added Absorb Health and Magicka
Volendrung - Added Paralyzation and Absorb Strength and Restore Health
Auriel's Bow - Added Fire (Sun) Damage
Ring of the Wind - Changed to Fortify Speed
Ring of Surroundings - Buffed Chameleon
Hopesfire - Added Torch effect
Warlock's Ring - Added Restore Health
Skeleton Key - Changed to 100 uses - Added a new enchantment when equipped
Ice Blade of the Monarch - Stronger Carrier
Museum of Artifacts - More Guards - New Artifact
Tel Fyr Artifacts - Changed Ownership of chests, people now care about you taking daedric artifacts
IMPORTANT!!!
If after giving drelayn the note and waiting for some time, the topic Wings of the queen of bats doesn't appear, open the console and type:
player->additem "AR_note_decoded" 1

Installation:
Extract the archive in your data files folder.
Compatibility:
Of course any mod that changes the artifacts above is incompatible, you can however load this mod after and see if it still works.
