Absolutely amazing textures! And I love how vanilla-friendly it is, it really makes the strongholds look so much better!

    Thank you!

Tested on OpenMW 0.47 / 0.48 (with a million other mods), and it works flawlessly!

I'll be sure to download this later, awesome! Strongholds appear so much in the game yet there are very few retextures, and most of them unfortunately aren't handmade and kinda clash with the original style. These look perfect though, just like your Hlaalu textures!

Hmm nice. Probably best one around now for the Strongholds. Any plans to retext other stuff as well?

I dont mean this in a hostile way but I'll never understand why some people put "vanilla friendly" and "2k" in the same sentence

He believes that blurry, low-res textures are an indelible part of the vanilla Morrowind experience.

That's if your definition of "vanilla friendly" is strictly literal. Vanilla doesn't mean early 2000s, low res textures or bust. It's a stylistic concept. Textures that have the same look and feel of the vanilla textures without taking too much creative license.

I mean, look at Tyddy's retextures of the game's architecture. That's about as close to vanilla as you can possibly get without simply upscaling the game's textures, which has actually been done in some cases.

Yep, I agree with that. I was describing the apparent position of the OP. I think you've put a finger on the problems with that position.
