About this mod

This mod is the successor to the similarly named mod by ThatDwemerGuy.
It contains over 60 iconic tracks from the games including alert themes, ambience, and menus, as well as some custom made sound effects, as well as an animated main menu. It is an original creation and doesn't include any files from ThatDwemerGuy's mod.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod contains music or samples from MG2, MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4, and MGS5. There are 24 different battle tracks (mostly alert themes, some custom made), 35 different explore tracks, and a few other miscellaneous tracks; all individually edited in some way for consistency, amusement, or to simulate !'s.

I highly recommend only adding tracks that either you will enjoy the most or are from a specific game you prefer. The music, as noted in the pictures above, is sorted by game.

There are also some vanilla and custom sound effects that I made from the games' for lockpicking actions, eating and drinking, and leveling up skills. I decided not to add sound effects to picking up items, weapons, etc. because the sounds would play during trading, moving inventory, and dropping, and thus they weren't really consistent. I might consider editing character voiceovers in some way in the future.

I played and tested this mod on OpenMW so I'm uncertain on its exact compatibility with vanilla. The bitrates I used will definitely not agree with vanilla, as well as the animated main menu. MGE XE and MCP with HD Cutscenes enabled is a start. Refer to ThatDwemerGuy's mod for any specifics, as well as the intro cutscenes.

I tried my best to craft a Metal Gear atmosphere. I included music from most of the games and though I tried to keep the tracks that had the same feel, although I believe to get the best experience you should pick and choose which tracks to keep. An arsenal of music if you will, Enjoy!

p.s.
Vanilla Morrowind runs the most stable when the ingame music has a bitrate of 128kbps. All music and sounds in the mod are at 320kbps. That means if you plan on using them in vanilla Morrowind without random crashes you will need to downgrade the bitrate to 128kbps or find another mod to solve the issue. OpenMW doesn't have this problem and can play the files just fine. Also, in case you wondering, battle music doesn't work properly in TES3MP as of yet due to how it handles AI. If you have any suggestions or ideas for this mod be sure to let me know in the comments!
