*Edit: MQ is 1k and HQ is 2k... Everything looks better except the cobblestone streets in the city, they still look low quality, they don't look like the pictures.
I am unable to extract the fixes with WinRAR... It says that the file is damaged and it will only extract 3 meshes, no matter the options for extracting that I use. Is there a different file manager I should use to open it with?
Beautiful mod! I was concerned seeing the posts about it not working for users without messing around with the TR BSAs. However, I installed it in OpenMW 0.48 by adding a data path to it in the OpenMW Launcher, and it worked straight away. I guess it just needs to load after TR in the load order and then it's good to go!
I installed it correctly, but it doesn't seem to take effect in game, my Necrom is still very low-res. I use the latest tamriel rebuilt, what could be the reason? Did TR team change texture naming or what? Please, help :(
The problem is with BSA archives from new version of Tamriel Data. You have to change the modification date for TR_Data.bsa and PT_Data.bsa to a past date, for example, to year 2006.
Thank you! It seems I made it work in a hard way. With the help of "Shortcuts for BSArch" mod here on Nexus I unpacked the TR_Data.bsa archive, put these awesome retexture inside, and packed into bsa again. But I like the way you described more, much easier :D
The team of Tamriel Rebuilt is searching people to recreate/enhance the old textures they have in their Data Files and that aren't HD. Maybe you can contact them? They will be happy to know that, and maybe can help you in some ways?
Fantastic. Playing around with TR and Necrom was probably the most egregious case of the vanilla texture resolution being distractingly low. Thank you for this.
