I did not enjoy the darkness mechanic in Morrowind and did not want to spend my mana or use any items to see where I'm going. So I've created this simple mod that allows me to always have the effect of Night Eye on my character.
Installation Download and un-zip the file. Put the "night-eye_perm.esp" file into your "Data Files" folder in Morrowind install directory. Start the "Morrowind Launcher", go to "Data Files" and enable the plugin.
How to use The ability is not added automatically. To receive it, open the console and type in the following command: player->AddSpell "night-eye_perm" You should receive a permanent spell effect called "Cat Eyes".
How to remove Simply delete the .esp file from your "Data Files" folder or disable the plugin in the launcher.
