    After hours of tinkering in MUSE 2, I scrapped my progress and tried this. I simply directed vanilla regions to their own folders. I didn't need MUSE 2's bells and whistles, just the right music for every region. Have an endorsement!

    Hey this is an amazing mod. How would you say it compares with MUSE?
    This has combat music (while MUSE doesn't), but it lacks stuff like tileset detection etc.
    Do you plan on expanding it later on?

      Provincial Music is different from MUSE in that it follows Morrowind's vanilla music mechanics ("battle" and "explore") while allowing for different soundtracks per province. Region checks are used in lieu of tileset detection. I don't plan on expanding this mod except for adding new province mod regions when they become available.

      I highly recommend MUSE if you're interested in expanding and configuring how music plays in MW beyond the vanilla mechanics.
