It doesn't complain, but I couldn't get it to trigger any gibs when I tried it out in an existing save. It might work for a mostly vanilla playthrough, as it doesn't seem to use any non-vanilla tools (MWSE, MGE, etc.) but you'll likely run into issues with any mods that add creatures aside from GIANTS, Wilderness, and Cait Critters (patches included with the mod, hopefully you can find the corresponding mod versions). Edit: I wasn't trying the right things, but I also created a merged patch using Delta Patch (essential for OpenMW modlists). Upon stabbing an imperial guard, the gibs and blood splatter worked fine. It just seems to have trouble with creatures, I couldn't even get a 'diseased cliff racer' (I think those are vanilla) to spawn either effect.
A visual effects mod, with the added 'gameplay bonus' of applying irresistible frost damage to entire interior cells.... dunno who thought the freezing water effect was a good idea but it sucks.

This is an outdated version. The version mlox is referencing can be found here. However, the edit by Dragon32 that fixed the errors that mlox is talking about is not archived on the Wayback machine. If I find it ill reupload it here on the nexus.
Mod is cool but almost every time I kill someone with an enchanted weapon or magic the audio stutters and freezing continuing to play. rest of the game functions. have to save there and reload to get it to stop. Anyone know a fix?
hey there i downloaded the mod and i think i did it correctly but i keep getting giant yellow exclamation marks spraying out of enemies . is there a way to fix this? thanks
Installed this looking for a mod to add blood textures to the ground, but it's just too dated & buggy. Why do some NPCs piss out steam when I kill them with a sword? And when they do, my fps drops by 40.
Anyone got any suggestions for a mod that just adds some blood textures to the ground from combat?
It seems that the Bloodmoon PlugIn caused a bug where all NPCs on Solstheim dont have voice lines anymore. After disabling the .esp everything worked fine again. Beside that, really great mod, had no other issues despite this one!! Endorsed.
