    This mod works as described however I'm experiencing heavy fps drops when I'm in outdoor cells. Works fine in interiors. I have individually checked off mods from my load order and have isolated to this one. I'm running the latest MWSE nightly, XE MGE in borderless windowed mode on Windows 10. Any suggestions?

      Also experiencing this unfortunately, will have to remove it for the time being until there's a way around it.

    Get a CTD every time I try to load a game. If I start a new game, it plays just fine up until the point where the map is supposed to appear during chargen, then it crashes. On crash, I get a weird audio bug where it repeats constantly until I get a CTD message from Windows.

    Warnings.txt in the Morrowind folder shows "Menu Error: Memory pointer corrupted." spammed several hundred times at the end.
    I am using MWSE 2.1 and MGE XE 10.1

    Edit: It seems version 1.0 works without issues for me, however. No crashes or unexpected bugs.

    Nice, now we need ability to customize paper maps and even make them ourselves. And compass

    You're not. I love this mod to death. It makes road signs and in-game maps useful again....
     



    Or even better, perhaps now is the time to redo the 2D graphics.

    Can you separate the main map and minimap parts of the mod? I want the main map, but want to ditch the mini map.

    Tested this morning during my stream, does what it says on the tin. Didn't dare leave Seyda Neen in case I got lost. Vvardenfell is a big scary place again. 10/10.
    Also experience the crash when map is enabled, didb;t work with my alt chargen (modtest), I'll try again with other chargen mods

    Like reported below, CTD during char gen, where the map is being enabled. But I have also a big fps drop in exteriors, so I can't use this.

    Am I the only one who loves mods like this?



    Previously I used a combination of Local Map Marker Remover (http://mw.modhistory.com/download-90-6727), Compass Pointer Removal (http://mw.modhistory.com/download-44-10437) and MKM Less Roadsigns (http://www.fullrest.ru/files/mkm_less_roadsigns) to achieve this sense of... being lost and rediscovering Morrowind again.




    For returning players and/or genre veterans, this is a great mod

      You're not. I love this mod to death. It makes road signs and in-game maps useful again. Also, for non-OpenMW users, solves the issue of landmass mods no being able to be seen... no map, no problem!

    This seems to crash my game once I finish CharGen, right when I'm supposed to get the map. Tried using no other mods with it, but that didn't help.

    Using this mod will cause a split second fade of the map when entering the inventory. However, to remove that annoyance, Null, I found that if you remove the map by clicking the minimap FIRST, exit, and then install this mod, the fade out is completely gone. Aside from that, no issues here. Now to really make use of those in-game maps I've ignored all these years!
