In the early 2000's, a brave team of modders went on a journey to transform Morrowind into not only a kid friendly game, but a whole new experience. Sadly, the Morrowind4Kids project never saw the light of day.
So here it is! Morrowind4Kids in all of it's unfinished glory!
I was able to gather the screenshots using the Web Archive site. I'd be lying if I said you couldn't go and also download some of the mods themselves from the site using the Web Archive site (emphasis on SOME. Some mods are available for download, some not), but seeing as the Morrowind4Kids site went down, I figured it's only a matter of time until PowWeb (the hosting site for Morrowind4Kids) deletes the mods from their storage.
Obviously, I don't expect anyone to download this mod collection as a way to get their children to play Morrowind, but so much modding work was put into a game I love I just can't bear to see it go to waste.
Here is a full list of the mods included and information about some of them:
-Morrowind4Kids -> The latest beta version of the mod from august 2004
-Balmora S'Mores -> Differently colored Balmora with different color options. (Check Screenshots)
-Fantasy Color Morrowind -> (Check Screenshots) Really colorful and happy looking Morrowind
-Fantasy Grotto Cait Sea -> I didn't look into this mod. Perhaps something similar to Fantasy Color Morrowind.
-Generations -> Children (Check Images)
-Gothic Gear -> Armor mod
-Land Patterns -> I didn't look into this mod. Possibly ground textures
-Morrowind4Fish -> Fish.
-The Teddy Bear Mod -> Teddy Bears as far as I know.
-Exotic Trees (Salvaged by DaedricCat!)-> I didn't look into this mod. Perhaps a tree mod.
-LowFat Morrowind(Salvaged by TempleOfNinpo!) -> Lowered the quality of Morrowind graphics and audio for low end machines.
UPDATE: All files got salvaged! Morrowind4Kids is saved!
Also, I uploaded the files separately for...well...separate downloading :D
