I was hopeful that this would fix my issue, but it does not. I've extracted and replaced the meshes and textures and edited my settings.cfg file as you suggested, but my daedric armor mod still looks milky white and shiny.
Please help.
Edit: I also tried making seperate paths to the patch and it still doesn't do anything to fix the shiny textures. I will simply have to turn off this lovely mod because it actually looks worse than the vanilla meshes with this bug.
Small update: Unenchanted daedric armor lacks the shiny look. I'm even using pluginless noglow and it removes the shiny look from all other enchanted armor. At any rate, the enchanted daedric armor looks blinding as you can see in my screenshots, so it's not the same effect as vanilla enchanted glow, but it does seem connected to enchanting since normal daedric armor looks fine for me.
I'm not aware of what I could be doing wrong. Meshes not replaced properly? I just downloaded your file and extracted to the correct folder and made sure my openmw.cfg had the folder path included.
I know it's been like half a year since I checked this mod page, but honestly I'm just as lost now as I was then. Why would enchanted my daedric armor make it shiny?
It looks normal in third person when I'm indoors, but the armor model in the inventory has the shiny look, and it becomes visible on my character as soon as I step outside.
