Hey, it looks like this is broken with the current version of Tomb of the Snow Prince. The barrow entrance spawns out in the Sea of Ghosts. The anthology patch seems broken as well.
Hello! I just found your mod and it looks very interesting and i'm really excited to try it out, but I have one question: I play with vanilla graphics and I read that You used Caverns Overhaul as a recource, so I just wanted to know if this mod changes any textures because I think that it would look very weird in comparision to the rest of the game with vanilla textures. The screenshots look very promising so I really hope that I will soon be able to test it out. Looking Forward to Your answer :)
Well done, it probably took me around an hour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The dungeon was well built and visually interesting. My only real criticism, taken constructively I hope, is that I felt there were just too many enemies, too densely packed for my tastes. Moreover, all the reavers carrying damage strength on strike axes made for almost immediate strength reduction to zero, several times over, which seemed a bit excessive as most people probably don't carry double digit stacks of restore strength potions, and have to resort to the console. That was the only way out for me after the first encounter with three reavers. All in all though, I liked it and look forward to more releases from you!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And no worries, I appreciate the feedback and constructive criticism. As for the encounters, they're all randomized. This is kinda a personal preference, since I want a little surprise, even when I'm going through my own mod in my own game. Having run through it several times, the spawns are mostly paired, so sometimes I had a run that was less, others it was more; also the mobs are set to wander, so sometimes it's the luck of the draw where they're positioned. However, I can understand your frustration with the Reavers. Once I've finished making patches, I'll look into making this the "hard" version and adding a "easier" version.
I second the comment on damage strength enchantments. Definitely my least favorite thing in vanilla Morrowind (greater bonewalkers) and doubly so to encounter so prolifically in mods. But the dungeon design itself was interesting as well as reading the background story. Great mod!
Wow! I should have seen that ending coming... What a cool (surprise) at the end! I haven't played Skyrim for a few years, so I wasn't expecting that, I guess. The reading kept this mod going, otherwise, it is simply a long line of combats until the end prize. Totally cool though!
I apologize for the delayed response. I had no internet for a few days. However, to answer your question, BB is compatible with Tomb of the Snow Prince, and I'll be uploading a patch for this mod to work with Anthology Solstheim/Tomb very shortly. Enjoy!
