1. Features

A newer and revamped version of the mod "No Resting Outdoors" that is now renamed to "Wait and Sleep for OpenMW".

Standard Version:
Custom configuration
More choices ie. "Wait in interiors only" or "Rest Nowhere"

Cot Version:
Waiting in public places/illegal areas will incur a crime bounty
Waiting too much will reduce acrobatics and athleltics skill
Resting without a cot in exteriors will increase the chance to pick up various different negative effects
Resting with a cot will give a buff
Cots have a duration limit before becoming unusable
Cot can be repaired to extend the usage

2. Installing the Plugin and Savegames

Extract to your Morrowind *Data Files* folder and activate in launcher.
You can also use any good mod organizer.

Installing using the OpenMW method is preferable.

This plugin should not invalidate your savegames. If you load
a savegame made during this plugin was activated without having
the plugin activated, you may encounter some error messages, but
you should be able to play on without further errors.

3. Playing the Plugin

As soon as you start or load your game, everything will be in order.

Standard Version:
An item called "wait and sleep config" will be available to use. Equipping it will bring up the configuration menu.
Adjust to your preferences.



Cot Version:
An item called "wait and sleep config" will be available to use. Equipping it will bring up the configuration menu.
Adjust to your preferences.
Waiting will accumulate the "Idleness" meter.
If the meter reaches 100 hours. The player will lose 1 point in acrobatics and athletics.
The "Productivity" meter will accumulate when player moves or spends/manipulates fatigue.
If the "Productivity" meter reaches 100 points. the "Idleness" meter will be reduced by 1 point/hour.
Waiting is illegal in interiors and player may get fined if caught. The crime is categorised as trespassing.


Sleeping without cot will increase the chance to get severe negative effects that cannot be healed using spells or potions.
The "Discomfort" meter will accumulate when the player sleeps in exteriors without a cot.
The chance to resist acquiring the negative effects while sleeping without cot will based on endurance and willpower
Sleeping with a cot will give a buff that fortifies fatigue.
To reset the "Discomfort" meter and to remove the negative effects, the player must sleep in interiors and health must be full.
Cot have a limited usage. After that, it will not grant any benefits.
Cot can be repaired using animal hides to extend/renew the usage, or by talking to clothiers with the topic "Cot".
All NPCs with Trader Service class will sell cot. Click on the topic "Cot" to buy.
Only 1 cot can be carried at a time.


Other options that you can change from the console:
kindi_was_movement_increment ( how much productivity point per move )
kindi_was_cot_price ( the cost of 1 cot )

4. Cleanness, Known Bugs and Issues

This mod is only compatible with OpenMW.

Please remove the old versions before using this version.

Use only 1 of the mods, they are not compatible with each other.

For cot version, type set "kindi_waiting.m" or "kindi_resting.m" to 1 in the console, to see the meter.
