Better Expansion Implementations was removed from the patch and can now be found on the Expansion Delay page.

Is there any 4.1 version in the making? Because I plan to start a new playthrough.

Sorry for the stupid question (and my imperfect English) but I want a confirmation: does the file esm specifically require the DCLs? Because i have only Morrowind..
    (I use OpenMW 0.46)
    Thanks for the reply

Yes, you do need the expansions for PfP. If you don't have those, I advise you to use UMP (specifically the 1.2.2b version).

There is a filtering error one of Athyn Sarethi's responses on the topic 'Redoran Hortator' for when he recognizes the player as Hortator (info ID: 22202199222505414571):
"The Council of House Redoran is in agreement. You are the Hortator..."

    It is filtered for Journal: B5_LlethriHort >= 50; Journal: B5_RamoranHort >= 50; Journal: B5_VenimHort >= 50; Journal: B5_SarethiHort >= 50; and Journal: B5_MorvaynHort >= 50 twice.

I believe the first instance of Journal: B5_MorvaynHort >= 50 is intended to be Journal: B5_ArobarHort >= 50 as it is on every other Redoran councilor's response on that topic including Bolvyn Venim. As it stands, the player can be named Redoran Hortator without ever consulting Miner Arobar.

Any chance of integrating PeterBitt's "Fireshield Icon Fix"? It seems the colour of the Fire Shield icon is still slightly off in PfP.

I'm pretty sure the icon in PfP is just fine. It may be that yours is overwriten by something like "Correct" Meshes.

I really need this to not have a debuff on enchanting its like im not even playing morrowind. is there a way to toggle this i have unchecked all seemingly relevant boxes in the mod UI but this terrible travesty persists.

This mod has a UI? Are you sure you're not thinking of the code patch?

I've noticed with the latest versions the characters use many voice lines when getting hit in combat, like "supid" or "AIEEEEEEEEEEEE" while only using a short grunt or two by default.

    Is this intentional?

It feels like those lines may have been deliberately not used. I certainly find it extremely annoying to hear the PC shout "stupid" etc. all the time while in combat.
A few years ago I even had to make a mod to disable these lines when the Unofficial Morrowind Patch enabled them, though I haven't needed that in years so I deleted it.

I don't quite understand what you mean. In vanilla MW, NPC have 14 responses when getting hit (based on health and a random factor). The "Stoopid" Wood Elf male grunt has always been there (if that's the one you're referring to?). It could be that a new response is heard here and there due to a fixed error in the dialogue filtering, but not to the extent that you describe.

I've tested this, hitting an NPC over and over again for a few minutes. By default without mods, male Wood Elf only uses an "ouf" as sound when getting hit at high health (and a couple more at low health), this counts for both PC and NPCs. With the patch enabled, I heard "stupid", "eek", "dahhh", and one more.

Just feels weird hearing the PC shout things like "stupid", feels more like it's a taunt for NPCs to use. But the the female Breton "AIEEEEEE" is downright offensive, hearing that regularly just drives me nuts.

One of the Wood Elf male "Groan's" is checking for "Health Percent >= 25" while it should check for "<= 25", causing it to block the other 11/14 grunting sounds when getting hit. This is a common mistake in which there seems to be no intention. I understand that it stands out for those who have played the game a lot (gotten used to the 30%), but that's because these sounds never functioned as they should.

The same applies to Breton female. There is a check for ">= 25" while it should be "<= 25", blocking 10/15 possible grunting sounds when getting hit.

Correction: The "Stoopid" Wood Elf male grunt was indeed blocked in the vanilla game.

If you're planning to make a personal mod for this again, I would recommend assigning those sounds that you find annoying to the "dialogueplaceholder" NPC (and adopt the PfP fixes). That way you get rid of those sounds you find annoying, as well as the benefit of extra variety.

This is a must-have mod. Once upon a time we needed to install countless separate bugfixes; now, PfP seems to encompass more or less everything.

Dagon Fel's shipmaster Haema Farseer has 4 official greetings filtered specifically for her (similar to those of other shipmasters and caravaners). However, she will never use them because they are also erroneously filtered for the cell: Ebonheart. If you filtered the dialogue database by her ID, the greetings will not appear. Unfiltered, you can find all 4 greetings a little more than half way down Greeting 9 - they are obvious.

I think those greetings would be more apt for Nevosi Hlan, as the greetings are specifically describing Ebonheart. Probably Haema Farseer was meant to be Ebonheart's shipmaster in the earlier stages of development before being relocated to Dagon Fel.

You are absolutely correct about those entries being intended for Nevosi Hlan.

I was actually looking for Nevosi Hlan's greetings when I went fishing in Greeting 9. I didn't immediately recognize Haema Farseer and went to the NPC tab in the object window expecting to see that she was not placed in the world. When I saw she was in Dagon Fel I got completely turned around and forgot the content of the entries.

It is unnecessary to use the cell filter along with the ID filter (except when the NPC moves). I suspect the entries were created before the NPC that would use the dialogue came into existence. All that was know with certainty was there would be a shipmaster in Ebonheart that would use it.

Anyway, we are agreed that the change should be to the ID filter and not the cell filter. However, soon the fix will be superfluous for some players.

There is a typo for all three (identical) entries under the topic 'Imperial Blades' that has not been corrected as of version 4.0.2. It begins:

"The Blades is an prestigious service order for citizens..."

It should read: "The Blades is a prestigious service order for citizens..."

I am not experiencing this issue, I am getting " a ", perhaps you have another mod modifying it, and not patch for purists?
