Hi Kursan I know this has been up for many years but I have just downloaded it and got into the modding of morrowind, been a vanilla player since it first came out. I am using OpenMW 0.47 and Tamriel Rebuilt. No other major mods, I have found the letter, I have found the house, I have found the cave with the spring and eventually the key, very very small. Was good fun. Not sure if the extra note is in the book about the backstory as per 1.3 but would be good to have that in the vanilla version as well. Great work, thanks for this. Its brilliant. My new base.
The plugin changes flora_tree_ai_02 by giving it Vurt's mesh. The problem is two-fold: you did not include the mesh so we get a big yellow ! and also, it replaces ALL the flora_tree_02 in the game.
Assuming the house specifically needs Vurt's model, give it a unique ID and add the mesh in the archive. If not, simple clean the reference.
Hi Mayco, it has been a long time since I made this mod, but the letter should just be lying on the ground on one of the two stone docks in Ebonhart harbor. If you use a mod that alters Ebonheart in any way, even textures, it is possible that the letter disappears. If you have no mods there it should be on the ground on the docks. let me know if you still cant find it and sorry for your frustation.
Thank you very much kursan, maybe it was because I was using the MGSO Overhaul and I deleted or disappeared the letter textures, I had to test the Mod with the vanilla game to check if the letter would be and indeed there it was, thanks for the advice.
Hey glad that worked for you and I hope you found and enjoy the house ;) If I recall there is a key to the lower entrance in the cave nearby by the spring just inside the cave entrance. I think it is mentioned in the letter, sorry it has been many years....
Nice! Had an issue being able to load 1.3 with Vurts. Errors prevented me from loading game. But 1.2 works perfectly! Still looking for the bow tho lol. Thanks for the beautiful house mod!
Hey glad you like the house and got it to work! Not sure why 1.3 would not work it is made for Vurts trees, but could be a different version? Remember this mod was created years ago. For that reason I do not even recall where I hid the bow or the ring lol, so sorry probably would have a hard time finding them myself now. I think the bow is on top of some ledge or shelf inside the house. I do recall the house key is hidden in a nearby cave, on a ledge just inside the entrance. Good luck and enjoy the home!
Thanks for your response! No worries. I can't even remember what the errors were, and that was just yesterday lol. Some tree texture/ mesh missing preventing me from loading game. Probably just my game. Went back to vanilla trees/1.2. Hope I'm not missing too much. Thanks for the hints you remembered. I ended up "cheating" them in. I'm not very patient haha. But I will give it another go so I can say I found them legit. Thanks again for the awesome home! Always wanted a treehouse in real life :-)
Managed to stumble upon the tree house, looks great from the outside. I'm guessing it stays locked until I find the letter in Ebonheart. But I'm not having much luck there...
- Found it and rhen the rest. Letter was camoflaged in with the texture replacer i run.
Real nice place. Like the letters and hints and exploration! Thanks for the donation to the community.
