Just downloaded this so I can endorse because I've used this in my ongoing game for the last five years, found it on a mod page...might even be your page sorry my memories not the best with such things.
I recently installed Balmora by the N'wahs and mushrooms team as I love their overhauls, this created a wee gap between meshes but I made a mod (my first) just to fill in the gap and I'm now editing your mod to add the same filler and move some clutter, if it had been another house mod I probably would have uninstalled in favour of the city overhaul but not with this house, its actually been the catalyst for me to finally start modding.
I really love this place and its in a perfect location which I agree seems underutilized, great details and the way its laid out made me feel like a bit of an explorer finding the crystal cavern and that underground crypt is really atmospheric.
No worries ;) Makes me happy people still discover and use this old favorite of mine. Yes Balmora nights can get very cold so you want to be toasty, haha :P I know its a bit cramped but there was not allot of room to work with and probably would do some things different now but sadly I do not mod for Morrowind anymore; yes the rooftop garden was one of my favorite spots too.
Alright, so the door to the crypt is in the basement as you head down to the bathroom, straight ahead there is a door behind a curtain; the door is raised off the ground so look at about eye level from the side. Then in the crypt at the very end up the large staircase turn left and where the roots break through the wall and ceiling a broken door is tangled up among the roots, that is the door that leads to the cavern. And the cave also has an exit-entry in the hills north of Balmora; remember if you have a landscape mod that changes the landscape just north of Balmora it will likely conflict with that cave entrance.
