Changelogs
Version v1.2
no longer requires MCP option, no longer adds space above greetings, now uses a global startscript instead
Version v1.1
avoids error messages when StartCombat is used in dialogue, but adds a small space above NPC greetings
requires MCP "'Talked to PC' extension"
Version v1.01
fixed filepaths for 3 voices
Version 1.3
fixed 3 voices in DarkElfF, NordM, RedguardM
fixed Ordinator voices, both the script and position of the Attack dialogue entry
You sneakily execute a character and they somehow still find the time to declare that you will suffer greatly, expound with confidence on the magnitude of the suffering you are in for, or propose you 'surrender your life to them so that they will end your pain' (while in the process of lying down on their face). No longer.
This had really been bugging me for the past decade.
(note: NPCs still use their attack voices - they are only bypassed on instant kills, using the normal death Hit voices instead. Additional Attack voice fixes included.)
DISCLAIMER: in the original engine, the game will still incorrectly give two error messages if a peaceful NPC attacks you straight from their first dialogue greeting. The game proceeds normally if you click "yes" to both. This is a general engine issue which, as of May 2021, is fixed only by the new beta version of MCP. It is not fixed in the released MCP 2.4.
