Does this mod reduce what most people have as topics to say, especially ashlanders, to near zero in the beginning? Or do i have some conflict? There is nothing to talk about with near anyone besides the single topic of my dreams.
Firstly, I like it, but I don't love it. I was super excited at first cause I absolutely loved the ashlanders when I first played many many years ago, but after starting this mod and finding out that it really just cuts out the first fourth of the game, which is responsible for establishing much of the context of the game's story, I was disappointed. This mod is fine for people who have already learned the context by playing the game the first time around normally, but for newer players they would miss out on a good bit of content. I won't beat a dead horse on the point of why Morrowind's story is great, but I will reiterate that it's because of the slower pace at the start. You're learning about the world and its people. This mod pretty much cuts it out. It does have potential though, but a lot more work would have to be put in to reach the level the vanilla story does at the start.
First of all, I LOVE the idea and it finally allows some not-outlander perspective for the mainquest. I would love to play it personally if it wasn't for giving up on Julan, who is himself altering the mainquest a lot... but as I read in the comments here earlier, is there a possibility that you would contact Kateri about making a patch? I know Kateri is still active as she's responding to some threads and she already made a great patch for another alternate start mod where you start as Helseths illegetimate child. If you like Ashlanders yourself, you might love to try out Julan as well maybe! She's not on Nexus, she has her own domain at http://lovkullen.net/Emma/Kateri.htm Greetings!
I have made a short video showcase of your mod because, what can I say, it's a cool mod that deserves more downloads.
It's here: https://youtu.be/Z1J3pADcmV4
Seeing as I died a couple of times leaving the yurt, I would recommend removing or simply moving the leveled creature spawns right next to the yurt. It's a shame the bedrolls can't be used after the dream sequence, any chance you could disable the scripted bedroll so I basic one right under it because available? Travelling to the wrong ashlander camp and having to hike back to civilization to try and find another camp is a bit harsh, I would change the journal entry to specify which camp you need to go to?
Anyhow, I'll be sure to use your mod when I play an Ashlander character (inspired by your mod in the first place!) And who knows, by then, Ashlander Tribes might be released...
Hi. I thought I had added the pack guar to each Ashlander camp in a new version of the mod. Maybe I never released it though... I haven't had much time to get back into morrowind modding since university began, but if I ever do I'd be sure to accomodate your suggestions. I'm glad that you are enjoying the mod, and I really appreciate the video showcase.
I'm surprised you've never heard of it. Julan Ashlander Companion is one of the most popular companion mods out, it adds a lot of new content to the main quest and other quests throughout Morrowind.

Unfortunately not (man, I really wish they were, that would be such a great playthrough) - Julan is heavily integrated with the vanilla main quest so you need to complete the Blades quests to advance Julan's storyline, and a lot of his dialogue is based on the assumption that you're an outlander - he'd probably have a very different reaction to an Ashlander PC.
If CzarRedwall could work out something with Kateri, though, wow, that would be an amazing combo.
@CzarRedwall - thank you for the release, this looks great and I look forward to trying it out

Overall: 6/10 for me.

PS:
I think possibility of change alternative or "traditional" start will be good idea too.
