This mod aims to be the most extensive and professional game overhaul for Morrowind.
I’ve consulted many other expert Morrowind players in order to get things as balanced and fun as possible. Besides containing countless completely original changes made by me, it’s a compilation of many of the best gameplay and balance enhancing mods out there. And even then only the best parts of those mods were handpicked and improved upon whenever possible.

Skills are now leveling at balanced speeds across the board. The costs to train skills have been doubled and the maximum amount of additional attribute points you can spend when you level up is now 3*3 (so 9 points in total). Getting that amount is also very simple; you only have to increase 3 skills of different governing attributes only once in order to get the full 3*3 multipliers when leveling up. This means that you no longer have to thoroughly plan out leveling your skills.

This also prevents also you from becoming too strong too quickly. In the regular Morrowind you'll have your attributes maxed out way before reaching player level 30 already if you keep doing “perfect” level ups, which meant that you'd be insanely powerful very quickly. With MWGO you’ll only reach the maximum amount of attributes much later, around level 60. This keeps the game balance intact for a much longer time and also means that you’ll still get to spend meaningful amounts of attribute points during the late game.

Your Magicka regenerates and it does so the faster the lower it gets and even stops to regenerate any further as soon as you’ve regenerated a large portion of it. The regeneration rate also depends on your current Willpower.

Several spell have been rebalanced, formerly unfitting or nearly useless effects of artifacts were redone and way too easy exploits are no more.

This mod was playtested extensively and is fully compatible with OpenMW.
