Shame this doesn't have more DL's. A lot of work went into this. I doubt I'll keep this permanently in my game, but it's something people should try at least once.
I'm looking for a diffculty mod. I'm interested in this one but what else does this add? I'm a little confused on what this mod does. I like to try and keep my game as vanilla as possible. Thanks
Sometimes people ask me: i am 20 now. will it stay this violent? The answr is a triple NO.
1. Foes become more violent and dangerous, and the neutral LC lists will tend to favor hostiles as your level increases 2. If you so choose and have the proper Tool, quite a lot of Vanilla Foes will gradually lose interest in attacking you 3. You better keep your eyes open for a Very Elegant Robe. Equip it and NO ONE will attack you...
@ 3 : My L23 wears it now. Nightmares, Maniacs, Warriors. She can walk up to them, stand next to them. Wear The Hat and generate hundreds of foes. NONE attack her. In all the years since i added it, i never wore it. See? The Mod even surprises its maker! WHOA!!!
With this Robe, *I* pick the fights. Sneaking up to them and hitting them out of no where with STR=180 and a fully swung Bound Axe delivers a very deadly Critical Hit. Running, jumping, diving with this coat in a world that is totally unaware of my presence, it is a very big change and an almost mystical god-ike experience.
I'd say : find it and try it. Hint: You may have to kill quite a few Maniacs before you get it.
Well, it isn't the Mod on its own that surprises me, it's this item in the Mod that shows me the Power of its Effect. In all the years I played MW, i hardly ever bothered developing this School. Boy was i dumb! Stoopid even. Whatever. Ignorant. And that's a nice side-effect of all these fever causing items: they show the Power of the Morrowind Magick. Like being beaten up while wearing Thorny Shielding Items. One by one thine foes drop dead from the returned damage.
This might not be a bad idea, but Tefkab (The Eejit Formerly Known As Blondie) is very tired and his (my) abilty to learn yet another forum is exhausted for this week. For now i am very happy that i managed to post the baby on the Nexus.
By the Nine, how many Morrowind Places are there on the Web?
Recently, I've finally decided to beat the main quest and max out my character (after all these years toying with mods and side-quests), and yeah, the invincibility was a major hindrance in proper immersion.
As soon as my Khajiiti thief is done with her "work", I'll surely give it a try!
Eleven years ago today, this Mod was one week old. I had renamed the Blighted Forager, made Merchant Mudcrab significantly stronger ( actually, accidentally killing it and finding out about that weeks later was my trigger to open CS in the first place ), and added a couple of LCs into the Vivec Arena Pit. And i was wondering: now what?
Well, eleven years is a long time. After adding a couple of new creatures by hand to numerous in_, ex_ and other lists, i felt the need to fundamentally change these lists and introduced the Family Concept. From then on...
Well, eleven years is a long time. Didn't spend 40 hours per week on modding though. Mainly played it, Noticed 'things', which triggered new ideas, stubbed like a madman, added, added, added. Learned new tricks and tools, worked my way through scripting's idiosyncracies.
The Mod is big, and the balance is 'quite tough but doable'. And even a Level 84 can die easily when distracted.
The Adrenaline... The Whoa-moments... The Smiles... Yep. It was worth those eleven years.
I can only hope it will touch and cheer up people from all over the world, regardless of faith, gender or skill.

No Game will ever surpass Morrowind. NEVER.

I have uploaded a wrong version of the esm (unclean, old region names solst- and mournisles) and bsa (titan armor meshes missing, L18+) yesterday.
Unfortunately i only noticed it this very morning. Before i turned grey, i used to be blonde, i guess. Can't remember.
Anyway : i am trying to post the correct version right now
edit : Goodness, that was awkward - but in the end it worked - the clean version with correct region names and bsa has arrived
