I like the mod but am not a fan of how all encompassing it is. It doesn't just change Vivec City, it also changes ancestral tombs, Ghostgate, Molag Mar, Velothi Towers, all dunmer temples, and basically any location that uses the same assets found in Vivec City.

You may want to put that in the description.

Those locations all share the Vivec textures. I'm not sure how else you expected the mod to be implemented?

    Does this override Intelligent Textures?

Only if you load this mod before Intelligent Textures instead of after.

I've now installed all six of your retexture mods with OpenMW 0.45.0.

I encountered no problems with any of them either installing or playing - I'm very happy with the result.

All are now endorsed plus I've given you a kudos. Thankyou for providing these resources.

This is awesome! I recently joined the community and I belatedly recognized the power of OpenMW. Thanks for all your hard works! We definitely need more mods like this for OpenMW

Hi Lysol, I merged bump mapped Vivec and your mod together taking out the AOF Textures and added yours the results stunning. This would be for MGE by the way. I upgraded the texture size to 2k also created new bump maps to fit the new size and also the doors are now in 2k format. I could send you a pic of how it looks plus the Dramatic Vivec mod is mid blowing with this it makes it more immersive. I would love to get your permission to upload a portion of your mod and Kanalhuhn's to put this collaboration together up for others to enjoy not just me. Great work by the way the floor texture is nice :-)

Hi, nice to hear that you got it to work with MGE. Some pictures would be nice of course.

About the 2k upgrade, I have to warn you a bit. The only thing you actually do if you "upgrade" the texture size to 2048x2048 is increasing file size. You won't add any detail at all. You might even make the textures MORE blurry by doing so. If you really want 2048x2048 textures, you have to make new textures from the beginning. Upscaling won't help you at all. Sorry. As I said earlier to CreeperLava on the Hlaalu pack, I don't know if I ever will make a 2k version of these packs, but who knows. At least I'll consider doing future packs in 2k. Let's just hope so ok?

About merging this with Kanalkuhn's mod, I don't think I have any problem with it, but I'll think about it. Let me know what Kanalkuhn says about it.

      And thank you!

Sure, how I could do that? I could upload them to this file and say this is not uploaded yet. Also after I upscale the texture that's when I apply the filter thus making a new texture with the filter over the old texture. So the filter is 2k. That's how I have cleaned up even old rock textures and sure they don't look photo realistic but what can you expect with such old textures right lol. They look crisp in the game though. That's also how I made my Clothes pack but then I only had paint.net and gimp I think.

EDIT: I misread your comment at first. Well, I'm still not a fan of upscaling, filter or not. But ok. If Kanalkuhn is fine with this, then I guess I'm too.

Hi, did you unwrap UV correctly, or do some textures have seam?

I haven't done anything with the models, so the unwrapping is what it is.

The textures should be seamless anyway. If you notice seams anyway, it is probably because of bad unwrapping on the models. It could of course be a bug too, please tell me if you find any seams and I'll fix them in a later patch.

      Here is the list:

      tx_v_b_base_01 (vertically)
      tx_v_base_01 (vertically)
      tx_v_base_04 (vertically)
      tx_v_base_07 (vertically)
      tx_velothi_doorstrip_01 (horizontally and vertically)
      tx_wall_adobe_brown_01 (horizontally and vertically)

Ah yes, tx_v_base_01 has a slight seam yeah, now that I look at it. But don't you mean horizontally? That texture is never placed on top of one another.

The same with tx_v_base_01-07, they are never on top of each other. But it does indeed seem (no pun intended) that I messed up a bit when I added shading on those horizontally. They are based off of the same texture as you might notice. I'll try to fix those seams later.

I don't think you should find any ingame problems with velothi_doorstrip, and the same goes with wall_adobe_brown_01. The latter of these are only found placed independently from each other in the canalworks.

Please, do correct me if I'm wrong, I might have missed some areas where you actually have two or more of wall_adobe_brown_01 and where you actually see seams with velothi_doorstrip. But if not, I'll leave those as they are.

This isn't only an amazing showcase, but suprisingly enough the best velothi replacer I've ever seen. Absolutely well done! Will you continue this project?

Wow, thank you very much! <3

I will probably continue making this particular texture replacer better by uploading a few patches when I feel the need to. Hopefully, I'll also find the time to make more texture replacers in the future. Hlaalu buildings maybe? We'll see. This took a very long time to do, but I still did it, so maybe I'll find the time for more.
