I wanted to expand the existing set of splash images in order to add more variety, but in the process I noticed that I don't find the original splash screens too pleasant, and I realised that they look more like old game wallpapers than actual waiting screens, so I decided to take another approach. Morrowind's original concept artwork is great, and I thought it would be a great resource for loading screens.


I'm trying to avoid using concept artwork that shows unused elements in the final game, and also trying not to use any piece of artwork that may reveal something important in the game (like putting in a loading screen an important character or weapon which appearance should remain in mystery until you find it in game).

There are a total of 20 2048x1024 images so far, updates can be made so I would be very grateful if anyone could give some critiques and ideas in order to make this better, thank you.
