This is an awesome mod, for what its worth, multimark spells are unaffected by this Mod, and as far as bottomless chests go, grab a couple or more Mannequins and blammo, practically bottomless storage.

Hello, it would be cool if you could link the acquirement of the spell behind a price gate - it's hard (for me) to play house mods where the character earns them automatically.

Really love this mod. Im new to morrowind and played the series pretty much backwards in time, so i craved an Oblivon/Skyrim style player home like this. I only have one problem, the music box refuses to play the song i put in place of Song1a.mp3, and instead creates a restore save and force closes the game. All my other songs work fine, except this one. I'm ASSUMING it's got a maximum time limit? My song in question is about 5 and a half minutes long, while all others are max 3 and a half.

      Sorry you're having trouble.

That's a new one on me, are you sure that particular .mp3 is formatted correctly? Trying to play improperly formatted sound files can cause the game executable to crash in that manner.

You might try it with another, equally lengthy song in a known good mp3 format. Maybe something from young scrolls =)

Let me know if you have further issues.

    Weird Bug

It seems that after getting the ring from Azura, if you walk through the door back to the rest of the Dagoth Ur castle/facility/etc, the spell to teleport ceases to work. You're fine as long as you recall or intervention out of there. However open that door (or maybe another door further in) and all it does is mark your spot. This may be a conflict with another mod, but I haven't tested to see which.

This sounds like it might be a mod conflict. Could you describe the problem a little more? There is code in the mod to prevent the teleport spell from working in certain cells. There will be spell fanfare followed by a MessageBox indicating the teleport spell does not work in that cell. This code fired as expected in "Akulakhan's Chamber". It did not fire in any other cells thereafter.

If the spell simply did not work (you got the spell fanfare and effect, but the menu did not come up) then you are experiencing a glitch where the teleport script is not firing properly.

Please try the following console commands, in order:

      StopScript, "AA1_YAPHM_TL_Script"
      StartScript "AA1_YAPHM_TL_Script"

Failing that, you can try casting the spell a few times, sometimes the values which allow the script to work get stuck, for lack of a better term, and spamming the tl spell a few times can fix it.

Please let me know if you continue to have trouble.

I'd love to use this mod, as I find myself in desperate of a player house, but I can't get any POH mods to work (or even bag-of-holding-like mods). I'm very new to modding Morrowind, having only followed a 44min youtube tutorial. The console command "COC "YAPHM, Main Room" just returns a "cell not found" error.
    :'(

EDIT: As I said, I'm very new to MW modding, but maybe this could help someone: apparently, I hadn't ticked the YAPHM.esp in the OpenMW launcher from within Morrowind Mod Organizer v2. It works now!

    About manual installation on Android:

Hello everyone, does anyone mind uploading the exact locations where the mod files are uploaded? I no longer have access to the computer, I am continuing the game on my smartphone, although I understand where most files should go, there are some like the whole folder named "extra" that don't have similar nano files. so I don't know where to launch it.

'Extras' is just a script repository. Everything goes into 'Data Files' regardless. If you look at the files tab here on the Nexus page, there is a link underneath the main download link ( Preview File Contents ) which gives you a breakdown of the files in the archive and where they are packaged.

Can't really tell you more than that, I've never tried the OpenMW android port, so I'm not familiar with how mod installs on that platform are structured.

Good Luck, and thanks for using my mod!

In terms of the way it works, it's essentially the same thing as OpenMW PC, every modification is done just inside morrowind folders (wherever it is). Some rare OpenMW mods They don't work, as I'm not a programmer and I find myself without a computer, I just don't know why. Playing on a Samsung J7 prime device...NO LEGS!!!All in-game video settings disabled, character's field of view at 50%, horizon view at 100% in open world and 50% in Balmora City.

I swore I commented on this mod page before but my memory escapes me. Oh well. I just got back into Morrowind (OpenMW) and I cannot express how glad I am that this is still compatible. My favorite mod of all time and one I will willingly break my rule of "mostly Vanilla" for, especially when using NOM and needing a quick and comfy bed to sleep in without the risk of a bedroll in the wilderness!

    I need help-

I have a ton of things in my "apartment" so I can't let it just go-

everything worked fine, until I started using mark/recall spells to do the Gentleman Stacey quests (he's such a pain to get to), and now I can't get into my portable home. Casting the spell brings up the menu, but I can't bring up the dialogue/travel menu, and the teleport doesn't work.

    Please send help!

Did you try the 'do nothing/reset' option in the menu? That should reset all the script values and make things work again. Failing that, use the console and " coc YAPHM, Main Room " to warp into the house manually.

Between the scripted teleport, the 'Portal to YAPHM', and the console, you should be able to get in.

Sorry you're having trouble, let me know if you keep having issues.

The reset option didn't help. I've been using the coc option, found the value with the toolkit. I'd rather not though, because I didn't want to use the console for anything. Even though the house teleport and mod itself could technically be considered a bit of a cheat.

Can't figure it out at all though. Loaded an earlier save from before I used mark/recall spells, and it still didn't work. The only other change between when it worked and when it didn't besides using mark/recall is downloading a weather mod.

      ETA:

I literally just fixed it. Reinstalled the mod, and it still wasn't working. Used the reset option, still didnt work.

Cast the spell, and walked forward about 4/5 through the casting animation, and it worked.

      Press F for "what?"

really like this, but i neeed bottomless containers. tried to tweak the esp myself, and while it works for a NEW game, it totally broke with my save (even when i tried cleanly removing it, saving, and reloading). all i changed were the basic container weights, but floors vanished and doors duplicated and the sorting scripts totally exploded. ah, morrowind modding...

Yeah, that's going to happen if you change the .esp mid-game.

      However!

      From the readme:

"... it is advised to move all items, companions, etc. etc. out of the home, then save your game. Uncheck the old version and make a new save with the mod unloaded. Exit the game again, check the updated version of the mod, load the clean save, and move your stuff back in."

This still applies if you're changing container weight limits, or other 'simple' changes to the .esp. Load up your unedited copy,of the mod, cheat up your strength to some absurd amount, and grab all your stuff. Exit the house, save, exit the game, clean your save by following the above process, load up the game with your edited .esp, and move your stuff back in.

It's a pain I know, but that's Morrowind for you.

      Thanks for using my mod!
