The mod itself is grand. It adds a lot of atmosphere with no textures or addons at all! The scope of it is huge, detailed and overall well done. Incompatibilities are there as expected but that is not my main issue.

It is more that a few things are simply left undone and improper. There is for example a water patch right next outside of Caldera that is just cut off in the middle and doesn´t attach itself tot the land properly : / And none of my mods mess with the landscape there or around or inside Caldera at all.

This in many ways still feels like an unfinished beta or alpha. So despite the great work and detail, how well they are often blended into each other and the nifty ideas to combine existing textures, you will run into oddities even with no other mods and vanila textures. These are only very few but this could have been done better/finished properly. Keep that in mind when deciding to download this mod.

Also on the compatibility keep in mind that it will be incompatible with literaly nearly any mod that changes the landscape or even alters cities in any way as this mod does also add to cities a bit too. New Suran Extended is absolutely incompatible for example and I will need to delete or move quite a lot of trees to make it compatible, the docks are a mess with this mod too. Also alternative textures CAN pose problems too! Vurts Bitter Coast Tree Replacer for example will show a mist artifact that is not attached in the tree properly anymore due to the altered mesh of the tree. So even mere texture replacers can cause problems, so best be prepared that this can happen with texture replacers.

If you plan to use a lot of other mods alongside this one, you will need to be making quite a lot of compatibility patches for diverse mods yourself. And depending on how gung-ho you are getting every detail correct you will need to invest quite some time too.

Is it worth it? From what I have seen, in my oppinion, yes. It will require basic skills with the construction set though, unless of course you plan to otherwise use a completely vanilla Morrowind.

Finaly: Are there any plans to finish this mod further? I.e. fixing the few leftover spots such as the water near Caldera and maybe compatibility at least for the most common and most used mods on Nexus? Despite the mod being as slightly unfinished and heavily conflicting as it is, I still must endorse this mod! It is too great of a mod with too much work put into it to skip an endorsement despite the few rough edges that this mod still has.

If this mod is abandoned/dead in the future I would maybe like to release a finished version with said compatibility and fixed leftovers with your permission, since there is nothing further specified: Do I and others modders get the permission to keep working on this officialy?

this is a great great mod in terms of visual fidelity

FPS wise however .... in balmora and suran especially adds a ton of clutter

Happy to give this a try, it might be too much for my notebook even with the 4g memory patch. Then I'll try it with with the gaming computer. This looks like what I've been looking for, thank you for the offering. But why is the download labeled, "Circling the Heavens"?

Love the idea but bad name for the mod. I also have doubts.

Is this compatible with "White Suran 1&2 plus addons"?
    http://mw.modhistory.com/download-45-13149
and "White Suran 2 - MD Edition"?
    http://download.fliggerty.com/download-132-728

I also dont like what you have done with the docks of Suran. Why so many forges under the archs?? They look awful.

The waterfall north of Balmora looks excesive and I doubt it will be compatible with "TamaraVico's Wood of Stone".
    http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/21164/?

And I also think that the falls in Seyda Neen are wrong. A vivid waterfall that ends in...a small swamp. It just dont blend well.

"You are more than welcome to make this mod compatible with your mods!!" This explains it all. If you dont care about compatibility, is a matter of time that people dont care about your mod. At least you could make it MODULAR.

But dont get me wrong, you have made a good try.

It's not that I don't care about making this compatible, its that I am focusing on the main goal of the project before I put boundaries on it. After I finish everything I will release patches specifically for Morrowind Graphic and Sound Overhaul, Morrowind Rebirth, and Children of Morrowind. As for now, you are right, I don't care because lets face it, many people here make less than 50 grand a year and have little time to organize something on their own to please everyone. If you dislike it, fine, sorry. I however did not make this for everyone's taste, as I've said before this was a personal project and I apologize for sharing it.

[Edit]: As for the forges under arches, waterfalls in Seyda Neen, avoid playing Skywind then, because they will be there. Just like Skywind, they do not accept community responses to those who do not support the project and just tell people what to do, so don't expect much. Thanks!

I've never expected more from Skywind, outlander.

And you shouldn't be modding for Skywind, because, you know, I heard them say we've reached Morrowind. I'm sure they'll let us go.

Nice mod overall. Although there are some graphical glitches with swamp mist. And you should clean this mod with tes3cmd.

The mist is part of the original Morrowind asset so I will see what I can do. I will give tes3cmd a try, thanks for suggesting it and telling me about the issue.

See, I love this. Right before finding this, I literally JUST re-installed Morrowind with the intent of installing no graphics mods except for MAYBE mge for Godrays shader (I feel like the game's design is the most ideal for sunshafts of anything I've ever played) and stuff like Vivec Expansion, Better Bodies, simple head replacer. Otherwise, Morrowind alone is actually a really beautiful game. Mass overhauls do nothing for me anymore because of the wild inconsistencies. With no disdain to any talented modders -- in fact, I have great respect -- the original game is much better at immersion than visual mods have yet done, though OpenMW will probably finally crunch that. It just struck me this morning as I was re-downloading Skyrim, my first and second playthroughs of Morrowind were some of my best gaming experiences, and it was nearly completely unmodded.

So, my question is, will this be compatible with things that are effectively doing the same thing -- adding to what the game already is with basically nothing but in-game assets or new stuff of similar quality?
    Chiefly,
    DarkNut's Greater Dwemer Ruins
    Vivec Expanded
    Children of Morrowind
    Tamriel Rebuilt

Those are some of the only mods I can think of that genuinely felt like they could be part of the game that correlate well with your aims. Your compatibility says it will not work with "most mods," but some specificity would go a long way.

Leave replies on what you think. How are the FPS in some areas are for you? I will optimize this mod later, weekly updates are being scheduled.

    @hurrdurrmurrgurr
I will in time, right now I just need to figure out what grounds will be available once I reconstruct everything.
