    Great mod for the most part, but I'm not a big fan of having a big hex plate in front of my character whenever I have Wraithguard on. Ended up deleting that one.

    Is this mod compatible with Morrowind Acoustic Overhaul v 1.1 (MAO)?, a guy said in the comments below that he get errors regarding the sound of Storm Atronach.
    EDIT: I will try figure out how to object-merge the sounds with "Excellent Magic Sounds", aparently the sounds of this mod are not so good. I hope won't cause any problem with MAO lol (aparently excellent magic sounds is better than MAO has) , this is getting tedious, because all those 3 mods affect sound....

    Doesn't work very well with rebirth 4.7 or above...

    I dont know why but after you have actived this mode, it will mess up all the magicka cost of the spells... uff

      spacedevoooo, first thanks for last time again.

      Yes I tried with Testool, but I crashed and then... I have installed the game again lel(with the patch before worked better... more and less)

      So I tried to looking for another program, I see a lot in other forums talking about program like smart merge but I didn't find anywhere.. so I dont know what to do
      Too bad after u have used this mod, magic in morrowind became so sad...

      nope .. I am playing as vanilla setted...
      Otherwise You may try with tes tool, but It's weird because for example it worked 2 times and 1 time..

    How can I just overwrite some spell effects I want without esp and effect I don't want?

      You'll have to rename the mod's mesh files and move them to the E folder so they overwrite and replace the vanilla versions. But you'll first need to use the Morrowind BSA Unpacker to view or extract these E files.

    New vfx looks absolutely gorgeous, puritans can get f**ed. It's pure pleasure to use Destruction magic now, but sounds really are an earrape. I hope you could change them again into something superior sometime. Endorsed anyway

      Fire/Frost/Shock magic still looks better vanilla though, instead of big sprite it's a spherical ball of flame that extends upon hit in case of fire.

    I get these errors when succesfully casting a Summon Storm Atronach spell:

    Bad note string "Sound: AO_atrost_hurt2" frame 414 in "r\Atronach_Storm.NIF".

    It's always a bit concerning when mod won't work with NMM ( gives an error on loading magic diversity 1.0 ), and potentially fk up whole Morrowind put I'm going to try this anyway. Also, why does No Sound mod conflict with the main file? ( mlox alert this) I unzip the no sound mod and there was just .esp, no sound files so cannot merge them together. It is kinda weird to have a plugin just for vanilla sounds. I would delete the sounds that the main file gives, but then most likely gives an error because it doesn't find them. Edit: whatever I cannot get this working anymore, maybe if I do a fresh install, now this mod won't find some of the magic moves... Inserting a new .esp won't fix this ... Expandedbirthsigns4purists readme.txt says that it will conflict mods like these so, be aware of this mod if you run Expandedbirthsigns4purists mod

    The sounds are pretty bad to be honest. The graphics are good except the honey comb. It looks good but not in first person, it blocks your view. If this mod had better sounds for the spell effects and altered the graphics a bit in first person then this mod would be perfect.

      There are optional files for vanilla sounds and minimal shield effects.

      There's also Excellent Magic Sounds if you want HD spell sounds that are more vanilla-friendly. Just be sure to use an object-merger so the mods don't overwrite each other.

      How would i go about merging both mods so i could get this mod graphics but excellent magic sounds...well sounds ? Do you recommend a tool in particular? Cause im willing to do it myself just need some simple intructions. Edit* I see a older post on here that tells me how to do just that. I'm going to give it a go. I'll be perfect with excellent magic sounds and the graphics of this mod.

      Ok it works! had to load mergedobjects.esp, the no sounds esp and the no shield esp. Those 3 and it works with the sound of Excellent magic sounds. :) Just to clary -- the mergeobjects.esp alone did not work also had to tick the other 2 esp...after that it works. For anyone that is willing to do the same.
