    A quick note on save game conflict, from the ReadMe:
    If you have entered the cell where Umbra is located (7,-7) with your current save before loading this plugin, Umbra (NPC) will most likely not have his new gear equipped and his scripted behavior might not work. As such, it is recommended that you start a new character to fight Umbra with.

    However, if you just HAVE to fight the new Umbra with your existing character, then there is something you can do:

    1) Download and install the "Enchanted Editor" (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Enchanted_Editor).
    2) Make a back up of your SAVE game.
    3) Open the Enchanted Editor and click on File->Open and then navigate to your Morrowind Save game folder which is in your Main Morrowind installation folder (where the exe. file is) and click on the save game file (ess. file) that you want to use.
    4) Scroll down until you see "Cells" (1581) and click on it. (DO NOT check the box)
    5) Scroll down until you find cell 7, -7 and put a check in the box next to it. A window will pop up on the right and click the delete button.
    6) Wait for the magic to complete and then SAVE
    7) Go and get your ass kicked by Umbra and enjoy it!

    It'd be nice to have a version with just the one sword (For lore friendly reasons), but still the buffs and armor set

    I'm not sure what happened but I downloaded this from gvs open mw collection but when I try to find umbra he doesn't appear on the hill near suran and is jus gone for me.

    First of all: Thanks for this phenomenal mod. Really makes Umbra look like the dangerous man he's described as.

    But I have one little problem. Weapon Sheathing doesn't seem to like the Umbral Longsword. The other weapons function with no errors but everytime I try to equip the longsword the game simply crashes to desktop. According to the MWSE log file it tries to call the 'loadMesh' function and fails so I'd guess it can't load the sheathed mesh of the sword for some reason.

    I know the mod was finished in 2019, but is there a possibility to fix this? The only option I found so far was to put the longsword onto the exclusion list, it works fine then. I've already tried installing the mod again, but it refuses to use the sheathed version. Sorting the load order in a different way doesn't affect it as well.

    First and foremost; this is amazing. You've created the best looking umbra in any TES game.

    But I assume this does not work fully with OpenMW? The remeshed/textured sword is on him, but his armor and the extra weapons are nowhere to be found.

    Tested with a fresh save and by spawning him, but to no avail.

      There's really no reason that aspect of the mod shouldn't work on him. It sounds like you have 1 of 2 things going on: 1) a mod conflict - make sure you have no other mods which might modify Umbra (try disabling all other mods and seeing if things work properly) or 2) you don't actually have the ESP activated - the sword replacer will work independently of the rest of the mod even if you don't have the ESP active. But things like changing his appearance and scripting the fight require the ESP to be active.

      Got the mod working! Fix was as simple as putting the esp to the bottom of the list. Interesting thing is, everything else besides the original Umbra is two colored. Half gold half the original colour. Been lookin into the files and done pretty much anything to my ability. Has anyone else here had an issue like this?

      The weapons have some special effects on them. Could be that OpenMW isn't rendering it all properly. I haven't heard of that issue before. Do you have a picture of the weapons?

    As soon as I ran across this mod it was a must have in my mod order. Umbra was the most memorable NPC from my first playthru, after defeating him I ended up using his sword for pretty much the rest of the game. I'm so happy someone took the time to beef him up!

    Haven't encountered him yet this run but I'm gonna endorse anyway because I'm familiar with some of your other mods and looking at the comments, you've done good.

    just asking what is the exact command to spawn umbra, I keep trying but it just keeps saying it's incorrect

      You could try the console command "placeatpc umbra", but I can't guarantee how that'll work.

    Has anyone had experience with this mod combined with the Weapon Sheathing mod (46069). Is there any conflict with Umbra's equipment?
    I haven't arrived at this point of the game, thus I can't tell for now.

      It'll probably just look like another weapon bristling from his back. Won't really be very noticeable I would imagine.

      A Weapon Sheathing patch is coming very soon to add sheaths to Umbra and the Umbral weapons. The recommendation after testing this myself is to exclude the NPC "umbra" in the Weapon Sheathing MCM. It isn't a major conflict, but the Umbra sword looks a bit out of place on Umbra's back since I have already given him some matching sheaths.
