    these look extremly better

    but they do chock down quite a few of my FPS

    and i never backed up the default telvanni meshes i was using, can anyone recommend me where i could roll back to vanilla style meshes?

    These are certainly some of the most detailed and best looking meshes in Morrowind. However, I can't recommend their use until the tile set is complete. As not all pieces of Telvanni architecture are included in this set, quite often you will get roots, stairs, or mushrooms in the old textures jarringly extending themselves out of the new designs. There is a very glaring mismatch in both colour and style. Secondly, the texture used for the root-footpath-bits doesn't look like mushroom at all -- it looks like some weird, greyish rock-y substance, and is really out of place. Finally, and least importantly, as the meshes are quite a radical departure from the vanilla shapes, there are some clipping issues, so they need to be manually jiggled about in the CS.

    Regardless of these misgivings, I really do like what has been done here, and it shows what is capable in an engine even as old and haggard as Morrowind's. I really do hope that one day the entire set will be completed.

    However, these use custom textures, so in case users want to stick to their current Telvanni texture replacer you only need to replace the custom files in this mods texture folder (it's in textures/telvanni). This mod replaces & with custom ones called &

      Thank you. I didn't like the texture, but replacing the custom texture with vanilla maintains the consistency with rest of the mushrooms while giving the new ruddy look the meshes provide.

      I really liked the mesh changes. Good work Tommi and qwertyasdfgh.

    holy shit... the only thing keeping Morrowind graphics mods from looking like an actual modern game are the very basic meshes and world geometry. 10/10

    also could you tell me or point me in a direction where I could learn to do convert meshes and textures like this?

    This looks like a great alternative to Telvanni Mesh Improvement mod ( I really like this irregular, organic look! Unfortunately, I won't be able to test them ingame before next weekend... It would be great to have a version that is compatible with Telvanni Bump Maps (, I just tested the textures on some of these meshes in NifSkope, and they would also look great on them! Though the custom textures you provide also look very good!
