This just makes it worse. I went from succeeding ~10% of the time to 1%. For real. 1%. Not an exaggeration.

If installed correctly with no conflicting mods, you should lose disposition points less than half the time.

While this improves the speechcraft to extend, you can just spam admire for a while, raise speechcraft level and get 100/100 to any NPC.

Speechcraft can be really frustrating in vanilla game...
    So what does fPerDieRollMult affect?

The OpenMW team has documented everything pretty well here: https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Research:Disposition_and_Persuasion

Basically, fPerDieRollMult affects how much Disposition increases or decreases on any given Speechcraft attempt. So if you double fPerDieRollMult, each Speechcraft attempt is twice as risky, but has the potentially to reap twice as much reward.

It's to do with emoticons (which, it seems, can be turned off with a little checkbox).

Thanks. I think the "Use emoticons" checkbox wasn't available when I originally posted. I've corrected the post.

Do you have any plans to make this compatible with OpenMW and if not, how much do I need to donate for you to regain said interest =)!?

If it doesn't work as is, that's a bug with OpenMW and it would need to be fixed on their end. They may or may not have implemented the game settings necessary to make this work.

It works with OpenMW. There must be something wrong on your end.

Bribing most people makes them like you a whole lot more. In fact it's especially good for when your audience's disposition is low. Only when their disposition is in the 70's to 80's do you want to switch over to admiration, where it has a decent chance. Or taunting/intimidation, if you had other plans.

I'm not saying this mod is unnecessary, I'm just saying vanilla isn't terribly broken - a Dunmer commoner wouldn't really expect an outlander to pay for their food, right? So it's a huge surprise to them when you actually do.

I tried to use this esp with arktwend, but it conflicts, so I need to make myself an esp for it. What settings do I have to modify to replicate your mod?

I don't remember the names of the settings, it was a while ago that I made this. You could try putting it in different places in the load order based on which you want to take priority. It shouldn't change anything other than GMSTs if I remember correctly. You could also open it in Enchanted Editor to see all the changes if you want to do your own version. Sorry if that's not much help. What aspect of it specifically conflicts?

I was always unhappy with Speechcraft and generally avoided it altogether. But using this mod, playing a silver tongue thief is a lot more fun for me now. Thank you.

Great Mod! I play a Dremora (another Mod) and because my personality is low, I can cast a charm spell, (bring most to about 45) Thief ring (+5) and then I get to be in character and choose to either deceive and try to admire or intimidate the mortal. I love it. Works sometimes, and sometimes they aren't intimidated, great balance.
