Good mod I guess but I uninstalled because I couldn't find the castle even after reading your comment about where to find it. I dislike challenges. They make me break down and cry.
My only complaint so far is that there is the constant sound of running water in every room and the sound just loops so it's rather annoying to be honest but other than that I really like this mod
I just finished fully testing this mod and the first few rooms are terrific. There is a ton of storage, a bunch of animated display cases, and everything looks great. The first time I tested this mod, I just located the castle and ran through the interior while invisible to make sure everything worked. There weren't any problems. This time I checked everything and found the two hidden rooms. I only found one spot where my PC got stuck, going down the stairs into the dining room. I couldn't enter the room without levitating for some reason. I could leave the room, but not enter it. Just my personal opinion, but I think the Dark/Evil areas of the castle don't look as good as the main entry rooms. They stand out a lot more from the visuals of the replacers I used from the STEP Wiki.
Overall, I liked the mod, until I found the container with all the high value stuff. That has to be considered a cheat container. That doesn't mean I won't use this mod, but for some players, that would turn them completely off.
Anyway, thanks for this mod!
And for those who can't find it, you just have to be a bit more persistent. It is near Hla Oad, Hlormaren, and just over the hill from Balmora. Just run around that area of the Bitter Coast and you will run into it.
So imagine my surprise when i was browsing for a good player home after having freshly installed Morrowind and i found out you had used your creativity for that game too!
Splendid, i have just the right character (a wannabe Necromancer) for this abode. Thank you.
I'll probably end up installing most of your castles, like i did for Skyrim, lol.
Jeez, been a long time without any talk here. Though, it is Morrowind, what can you expect? To my point, if you see this, would you mind if I made an add-on for this house to give it some extra functionality? That is to say, some servants for the new lord of the castle?
Not sure how to make a mod require another file as a master, though it doesn't do anything without your mod enabled anyway, since everything would be inside the castle itself. If someone loaded my mod without yours, there would just be things floating in an empty, inaccessible cell
Amazing house mod, I simply love your creative use of interior design and tileset combinations! This dark castle is quite foreboding indeed, but with quite an array of services for the more murderously inclined of us that makes one feel quite at home! I'll have to keep this one as part of my permanent save game. Endorsed.
