Hey folks! Version 1.1 of Epic Sadrith Mora is live. Here's the changelog:
- Added doors to all pod buildings. - Created a plausible reason for an archer to be on the bridge entrance to Wolverine Hall - Scaled back the loot at Sadrith Mora main docks - Locked all inaccessible doors - Fixed a few aesthetic bugs
Thanks for all your support and don't forget to endorse if you're a fan of this mod!
may i query the possibility of fixing the problem feastsun noticed a few years back? "There's one door to Meluria Seleth's House which you forgot to assign, possibly you forgot to assign it after you move many doors It's on the left side of the Balen Vendu: Monk's housepod." i really love the look of this mod, i just want to be careful
For anyone still wondering, I remember having these before, so I decided to check. They're from Morrowind Visual Pack.
Since it was easier to check the files than install the mod again anyway: tx_mushroom_01.dds to 05.dds. 04 is the pink top, the rest are the orange undersides. For all your mixing and matching needs.

Noticed this too. It's probably because the door to her house was the base to make a blocked door ID so the teleport function carried over, in CS you can see that there is one blocked door that has a teleport to her house assigned.
This mod adds a variety of buildings and objects to Sadrith Mora to give it the appearance of being the large, Vvardenfell Telvanni capital it was meant to be. Many houses are added, the "imperial" section of the city is expanded, and the city as a whole is expanded more vertically (since Telvanni like to levitate). Although the buildings are there purely for flavor (that is, they aren't enterable), I never felt that this detracted for the sense of immersion, and if you play with mods that add NPCs, such as Morrowind Comes Alive, it gives the city the appearance of having housing for the new residents. The variety and layout is quite good, in fact, I would not be surprised if the author had some background in urban planning.
The only critique I have is that there are a few too many housepods added, and as a result many are scaled down to a quite small size. My suggestion would be to take away some of the added pods, and make the remaining added pods larger instead.
This one critique is, however, a matter of personal preference, and I otherwise recommend this mod strongly for any player spending a good deal of time in Sadrith Mora (especially Telvanni players).
SCORE: 8.5/10
COMPATIBILITY
There are minor incompatibilities with NOM in that some of the new building's are placed over NOM's wellpod and bakery, but this can be easily remedied by clicking on the offending building parts and typing "disable" in the console.
This mod IS compatible with the bathing mod.
Although not inherently compatible with Sadrith Mora Expanded, the author of that mod has made a compatibility patch available on that mod's page.
Unknown: Sadrith Mora Closed City; More Detailed Places--if the author could clarify compatibility with these two it would be very much appreciated!
I did what you suggested and it was fairly easy to do...took a careful eye but the end result didn't create any floating objects or terrain abnormalities. Once the offending buildings were cleared, everything fit together naturally.
I really want to use this mod, but its not compatible with MSGO 3.0. That is a deal breaker. Maybe if they do a MSGO 4.0, they can add your mods into the mix.
They'd have to add a compatibility patch, I guess. I'm not sure how I'd feel about having my stuff in MSGO. These mods in particular are definitely a personal taste thing, and not something I'd want to force on players.
