Man, after doing a little investigating about your WAC-ME project, hype started to build up and I immediately tried to search around for whatever links were available, little did I know that this project was apparently still in the works. Which is a bummer but real life and other things need tending to and I understand that but I wish you were around to provide a form of update mate. Would love to hear from ya again!
I have tested this mod many times in different games and with different other mods. I endorsed the mod because it is very useful and works pretty well. When I just had the panther follow me and fight with me, everything worked fine. However, I just did a much more thorough test of the mod to examine all the features. During a 30 minute test, my game froze and stopped working 7-8 times. It froze every time I tried to banish the panther. It also froze after using the hunt command to bring food and to check for hostile creatures. I plan on testing this more as I test other mods to see if the freezing and crashing continues.
I forgot to comment when I downloaded this last year! This is a fantastic creature companion mod. I hope progress is going well on your larger creature mod for Morrowind!
This is a very fun mod! Just two small (I think) bugs to report.
(1) whenever you try to give the panther a command the dialog box closes right away. Given that one of the commands is "talk" it's strange when the box closes so quickly before you get to read the response. Also, if you ask the panther to bring you food, this prevents you from reading what the food is in the dialog box.
(2) the figurine does not unequip right after you equip it. This may be due to the MCP, which creates a special third slot for rings. I don't think this has any negative ramifications, but wanted to report it just in case.
Hi! This is my first run on morrowind, had a short time with oblivion and lots of fun in skyrim. But enough of introductions. Imagine my surprise, being a huge fun of Mr Salvatore, and specially of the companions of the hall, and finding this mod as soon as I enter the nexus! Know any good Drizzt mod? or related?
This looks a little like Maigret's Sable, which was IIRC your model too. So this is a little like having my favorite Oblivion pet companion in Morrowind. Now we only need your real swords ported over, or maybe a WAC for Morrowind Sorry, just dreamin...

And yeah Maigret Sable companion was based on WAC, so it's nearly the same, other than that it's another model, it use my old texture.
Tested it a little ingame: 1. looks really nice and is fun. Love the "roll" command. 2. does anybody else experience reproducible CTDs when trying to banish her? I had to change the cell with the figurine to make the mod work with my language version but except that I left everything untouched and besides the outputs I see no further language specific code. And except that step everything works fine, so I have no idea what's wrong. The popup dialog works, when I choose not to banish her the game continues, so it must be that final step, that makes her disappear. Last thing I hear is a roaring sound and then the game crashes. That does not happen when she disappears after the 3 minutes.
Thanks, Waalx, I don't think it's a bug might be some sort of incompatibility with my setup. Or I got rustier with my knowledge than I thought Just in case somebody observes something similar drop me a note.
EDIT: Okay, I am sorry, it was little me being a bit rusty....
I've just installed Morrowind on my laptop only to play with WAC-ME...While waiting this companion pet will do just fine. Thanks again man and welcome back.
