It's sad that this is basically abandoned. I'd love a version that's fully functional in OpenMW.

Do you mind if I use this in a Balmora merge+fixes+edits new mod I am making? @MrFulgore?

Sadly this is not compatible with BCOM, at least not the BCOM Waterworks version. What a shame. It would have been nice to have this work with it.

It should be an easy fix, since the only way to access it is thru 2 sewer entrances on the poor side of the river, you can load it alongside BCOM, navigate to the "Balmora" Cell, any will do and then locate the 2 entrances, just move then whenever you want.

Will take less than 5 minutes to do it, I dont use BCOM as I use my own Modded cities, but should be fast enough for you to fix it, I heartily recommend it for the occasional trip down there and marketplace for a small immersion run .

A beautiful mod that with some love and tweaks could be an amazing mod in 2024 ... it has everything and the sewer merchants and markets is very well done!

Needs some love to make it 100% perfect, worth a download!

Just played for a bit. Some thoughts:

I really like the atmosphere of the sewers, it suits the more run down part of Balmora. The NPCs have some fun back stories, however it was odd in a few cases with Dunmer born and raised outside of Morrowind calling me an outlander immediately after explaining their stories. Naturally not wanting to be humiliated by some fetchers I taunted them into starting a fight and preserved my honor at their mortal expense.

Things got interesting and then strange when I hit the caverns. They're atmospheric, but things quickly begin to make no sense. For starters, enemies that really aren't that tough quickly begin to drop rather overpowered equipment. It didn't take much for my PC with high speed and spear to wreck them quickly using a bound spear. Seems like an unbalanced reward.

If there was a system to open what appeared to be the "prize room", I couldn't find it or it doesn't work in OpenMW. No fault of the author if it works in Crashwind given the release date, but it's worth noting.

Seems unfinished and unbalanced for those worried about a potential exploit, but the mod is worth it alone for the atmospheric sewer market!

I'm playing on openMW 0.48 RC9 and I got in the water in the market but I can't get out. I tried moving into the cave with mushrooms and couldn't get out of the water either. Any ideas what I'm missing? I thought there was a ladder out of the water, but so far no luck.

Mostly. The dwemer elevator is one-way, so you have to use TCL and recall to leave and re-enter the later part of the dungeon, the Dangot quest is broken, and the door to the fancy enchanted armor doesn't work, so again, TCL. Otherwise, everything is well done and it's a nice dungeon with some nice loot attached.

The elevator does not work if OPENMW_PHYSICS_FPS is set to 15.

Is it impossible to complete the Dangot quest? I've been running around looking for him for hours but I can't find him.

      Using OpenMW:
I found Dangot (a corpse on a table, with pulsing heart, his armor close to him), i put the skull, and I did get the reward (potions), no problem at all.
Even the elevator is working as intended, i suppose.

Only the "cranck + the Powered Dwemer thingy" was bugged (kind of), and i passed it with the console command to unlock the crank script.

Looks like there's a nav point in this mod that causes NPCs to dive into the river.

Bit late as far as replies go but there is a fix for your specific issue found here:https://modding-openmw.com/mods/balmora-underworld-nav-point-fix/

It works for Morrowind OpenMW, however i can't vouch that it'll do the same for vanilla Morrowind.
