Great mod, but there seems to be a shinyness in mud caverns that shifts depending on where you are facing. Applying the change to the settings config file does not fix this
OpenMW doesn't support bump mapping because it has a better implementation of it called normal mapping. That's why everything is shiny for you. You can still get bump mapped mods to work properly in OpenMW but you have to delete the meshes folder and rename every texture ending with "nm" to just "n".
Has anyone else noticed that a mesh is missing for "in_pytrans_00"? Any time that static is used, it uses vanilla cave textures instead of this mod's. A .nif file for that particular static is simply missing from this mod. I don't think I can simply rename one of the mod's .nif files and use it in place of the missing one. Can anything be done?
Yep. Noticed this too. The pytrans nif appears busted in-game. The mod has the proper mud trans and mold trans in the meshes folder but is missing the pytrans. Has anyone found a remedy for this? Otherwise i have to purge this
This may be causing me to have a glitched missing mesh hot pink rock in bloodmoon caves *EDIT - there is a separate mod designed for this one that fixes this. Doesn't fix the other issue in the comments though
Actually, let me know how it works. I'm now skeptical that it will, because the deleted meshes use fewer textures than vanilla Morrowind. So with vanilla meshes, perhaps you'll see some mismatch.
Edit: It's as I feared; this method produces a mismatch between cave walls and cave rocks that's pretty noticeable. The good news is that if you use the latest nightly of OpenMW, you can get the mod looking as intended without any alterations. Just open your settings.cfg file and add the line apply lighting to environment maps = true under the Shaders section.
God this is bad. Missed textures in some caves destroys immersion completly, and no fix since 2013. DON'T USE IT! Or you will have a lot of pain tryin to delete or fixin it
And another absolutely brilliant eye candy. And again yours were the best in my oppinion amongst many other texture and in this case mesh packs too. I swear to god without your mods my Morrowind would lack a great and irreplacable deal of immersion.
