Finally visited the modified Lizard's Head in my game and all seemed to work perfectly fine! The content was enjoyable and fit the lore quite well, at least in my opinion. Thanks for this and the others in the series, would be nice to see more such well made things from you, perhaps TGD04?

I'm glad you enjoyed my mod, Velkaarn. I had a lot of fun creating it. Back in 2010 I had actually gotten about half way through creating a mod called TGD04 Plot and Plaster which had a rather involved story about some creepy goings-on around the island. After working on it for a few months, though, I had to stop and go on with my real life. Working on mods can suck up an enormous amount of time and I tend to be obsessive about it.

I hope you get back to modding eventually and finish this! The Telvanni have some great quest mods but few mods that give enhanced treatment to vanilla Telvanni NPCs in towns. Your Lizard's Head mod was one of the few :)

    FULL REVIEW

This mod adds dialog, books, new food items, and a quest to the Lizard's Head tavern in the Telvanni Canton of Vivec. If I had to compare it to anything, I would probably compare it to LGNPC, except smaller in scope and with more interactive conversations. The mod author makes clever use of "choice" dialog responses to make the conversations with the NPCs flow, and you really get to know them. Each has a unique and believable personality, and some offer increased functionality not otherwise available in vanilla. For example, if you're a guest at the tavern, you can have the slave NPC there fetch certain items for you at a discount to enhance your stay. The NPCs also react to and comment on certain events that take place in Vivec and in the House Telvanni questline.

The quest is an interesting quest with a decent (though not overpowering) reward, though it goes against certain House Telvanni interests, which is ironic given that the quest is in a Telvanni tavern. It makes sense though given the context, trust me

I noticed no bugs during my playthrough, just two minor conflicts with Morrowind Comes Alive. This mod appears to add a plant behind the counter that conflicts with a bard that may sometimes visit the tavern. Another is that MCA accidentally (I think), deletes one of the NPCs in the tavern, preventing the player from experiencing some of the dialog this adds. You can fix this easily thought my using the console to place the missing NPC

    Score: 10/10

Thank you for the wonderful review, Kogorn! It sounds like you had fun interacting with my characters. It's been so long since I made this mod that I've installed it recently and plan to play through it again to remind myself what it's all about.

I may have to jump into MW and give this mod (as well as your other ones) a try!

I love little mods like this that add a bit of character to places that don't get much love.
