You can now report bugs by using the "bugs" tab above.

    Troubleshooting:

    Scenario 1
I've got a warning telling me that "One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on".

Ignore the warning. It's not something that will break your game in any way.

    Scenario 2
NPCs and statics are doubled. Doubling can be caused by a variety of reasons. Here are the two most common ones:

You are running two different versions of Morrowind Rebirth at the same time.
You are running an old save-game. You will need to repair your save-game using Wrye Mash. Follow the steps in ”5.4.1 How to update your save-game to a new version using Wrye Mash”.

    Scenario 3
I'm unable to access " Data Files" on the start-up menu.

Try to remove a few letters from the esp/esm names.
Make sure you are running the Morrowind exe as an "admin".

    Scenario 4
Trunks, logs etc. in the Bitter Coast Region are "white" and doesn't have any textures.

Remove 'flora_bc_knee_01' to 'flora_bc_knee_04' and 'flora_bc_log_01' to 'flora_bc_log_02', which all can be found in Morrowind/Data Files/Meshes/f.

    Scenario 5
I'm seeing a ton of floating root-meshes in the West Gash Region.

It's likely that you're using a tree replacer that overwrites the files included in the Morrowind Rebirth archive. Because of this you will have to replace the root meshes with "empty" meshes. To do this you have to download the following mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/30669/? and pick "Vurt’s Leafy West Gash v10a". When you've downloaded the file open up the archive and copy 'vurt_flora_root_wg_01' to 'vurt_flora_root_wg_08', then paste these into Morrowind/Meshes/f.

It is impossible to get non segmented clothing and armor mods to work with this. Literally my only gripe.

Just to be sure, does this mod changes vanilla quests in any way?

Rebirth doesn't change the quests, but enemies might be stronger and rewards might be less/more rewarding.

Just a heads up. I have been updating the file combination file that I uploaded each day. Minus an issue with the Eastern Guard tower door exit, The file seems to work properly now. Unfortunately, I did not figure out how to separate the combo file into a single patch file yet. Let me know if you have any issues. Every time I find a problem, I update a new version.

Do you mean that you made a compatibility patch? If so you should upload it. I would also like to note that I've made additional changes to Balmora in 5.0, so whenever that is released to the public you should re-check for any issues.

I did make a patch, but upon testing in game, I had screwed up, and it did not work properly. I may make a new patch tonight, since I discovered the problem. I made a post about the issue that I had @ https://forums.nexus...post&p=66759331.
If you want, I can give you the combined esp, but I do not know if it would help. The last combined esp had multiple fixes, which included removing a lot of rocks, leveling the ground in 3 main places, uncovering a landmass in the mountains, and fixing the river where npc's would get stuck or drowned.

Ok, I found an early version of the mod, and I am now uploading. Also. what may be a basic patch compatible also with Zins underground. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46297/

johanrosen, are you interested in adding the Balmora expansion to this mod? I know it is old, but I just made a version of this file that is compatible. So far, the main conflict was just with landmass changes, which I deleted from the esp. The version I used is https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44659?tab=description

Sorry if this has been asked already, but I've had a quick look through the comments and the change logs and haven't found anything answering this yet. I've got an old version of Rebirth and there's an addon for it called Balmoras Underworld which I noticed was missing in the newest version.

Has the addon been merged with the main mod or removed on purpose? Was this just an oversight?
If so, would the old addon be compatible with the current version of the main mod? (assuming the addon hasn't had any updates that is).

*EDIT* nevermind just found a reply saying you'd removed it because of some nasty bugs it was causing.

      Hi!

Sorry for the late reply, but I notice that you found an answer to your question. I hope to include a fixed version in 5.0.

      Cheers

Brilliant! The rocks in the Bitter Coast are fixed and everything looks great. How do i manually improve my sneak skill ? It doesnt work like it did in Vanilla. All and all great mod. Is there any reason I shouldnt load the Bethesda plugins (adamantium armor, master index, etc.) ? Thanks a lot, bro! This mod delivers an incredible, new experience, that returning players are sure to enjoy and maybe some new players that understand the games mechanics and just find it too easy.

I wasn't aware of any issues with the bc-rocks, but I'm glad it works for you now! As for the sneak skill it should work as usual, but I'm unsure what you are refering to when you say manually improve? Regarding the official plugins they should work fine, bar Fort Firemoth which causes some clipping issues in Seyda Neen (unless you can live with that).

I'm glad you like Rebirth btw! :-)

The Rocks appeared black in 4.8 in the Bitter Coast . Im playing on Android it might just have been OpenGles to OpenGl conversion issue but its fixed . Sneak works fine btw, im sorry. It didnt show it as improving initially but i just loaded my game and it had improved and i watched til it leveled just like it should. I can live without Firemoth lol i get like 5 fps (outside) making it rediculously tiresome having to kite skeletons to a playable cell . Thanks for the quick reply and sorry about the false bug report, i will be double checking any issue in the future before reporting .

I see. Yeah it's most likely some sort of conversion issue since you're playing on android. It could also be the fact that the rocks no longer uses normal maps since 4.9.

Let me know if you have further questions.

      Cheers

I have no idea where else to look for a solution, and Morrowind Rebirth is the only mod that I have that touches alchemy in any way, so I figured I'd ask here.

I can't seem to craft restore health potions, at all. My alchemy skill is still fairly low at 21, but with every other potion I tried, I got at least one out of every ten or so attempts. Not so with restore health. I tried multiple ingredient combinations, dozens of attempts, reloads, more attempts, and not a single restore health potion. I couldn't find any mention of this rather specific problem elsewhere, neither for a mod nor for the vanilla game.
The only other mod that *might* be involved is Graphic Herbalism, but that doesn't do anything with the ingredient values or the alchemy skill, so I don't know how that would break anything.

Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, is there a way to fix this?

I'll look into it, though I must admit it does sound a bit strange.

How to install the hotfix? Should I copy esp to main folder and textures to data folder of morrowind, or should I just unpack the archive into either main folder or data folder? If former, main or data?

ESP and Textures go into Data Files.
