About this mod

This is a collection of ESPs fixing some Morrowind bugs that have not been addressed by the MPP (= Unofficial Morrowind Patch Project) yet. It can be used together with any MPP version or without MPP at all if you wish. Fixes a few quest breaking bugs, some misdirections and a number of floaters. Bloodmoon and Tribunal required.

Permissions and credits
These seven little ESPs (actually six, but one comes in two versions) are meant to fix a few bugs in Morrowind (with expansions) that have not been addressed by the MPP (Morrowind Patch Project, also known as Unofficial Morrowind Patch project) yet. They are independent of MPP, so you can use them together with MPP 1.6.3, or together with MPP 1.6.5beta, or without any MPP at all (although there is no reason to renounce MPP - at least version 1.6.3 is generally considered stable).

The "objects" ESP fixes floaters, bleeders and the likes. It comes in a version with land textures edited (so as to update the vertex shading around moved or added statics) and a version without land textures edited. Choose one; don't load both at the same time!

The "scripts" ESP corrects a few scripts. In particular, the ColonySeler script from Bloodmoon is fixed. This corrects a questbreaker bug caused by MPP 1.6.5 (without MPP 1.6.5, it makes no difference). Also, the "Rescue Jocien Ancois" quest now ends where it should.

The "persistent corpses" ESP, at the moment, only changes one corpse to make it persistent (so you don't miss a quest item if you flee from combat).

The "dialogue" ESP modifies some dialogue to fix some quest bugs. I can theoretically imagine it being incompatible with other mods that change dialogue, but I don't think that's very likely.

The "books" ESP improves some geographical directions for the Bloodmoon MQ. The DDS file in the BookArt/ subdirectory belongs to that ESP; it's supposed to correct the position of a stone on a Bloodmoon map; it is, alas, very dilettantish (improvements are highly welcomed; my email address is in the readme file).

The "dren plantation" ESP fixes the lag in the Dren Plantation that occurs when the savegame is large (not astronomically large; a character who has explored most of Vvardenfell will probably run into this lag issue). This plugin will conflict with any mod that alters any of the NPCs Neetinei, Ahzini and gah_julan, or the script hidesFootScript. (Conflict in the strong meaning of this word: I can't rule out crashes.) Also, mods that alter script drenSlaveOwners render this plugin useless, at least if loaded after this plugin.

I have tried to keep these fixes as clean as possible and not affect the balancing. There shouldn't really be a reason not to have them activated. As for reasons to have them activated, see the TXT/RTF files in the archive.

For any comments and suggestions, feel free to contact me (see readme for email address).

Bloodmoon and Tribunal required.

MOST IMPORTANT FIXES:

(1) MPP 1.6.5beta breaks the Bloodmoon "Bar Brawl" quest. (This is not the MPP's fault. It's a bug in the original Bloodmoon code, which was rendered harmless by another bug. MPP removed this other bug without fixing the main one.)
Fixed in "arvisrend - fixes - scripts.ESP".

(2) Due to an overflow of a short variable, the script on Assaba-Bentus in the "Rescue Jocien Ancois" quest was not always working properly.
Fixed in "arvisrend - fixes - scripts.ESP".

(3) In the Bloodmoon main quest, the location of the Wind Stone given on the map was rather off-track, and the location given in the "Story of Aevar" was completely wrong.
Fixed in "arvisrend - fixes - books.ESP".

(4) The quest "Kurapli Seeks Justice" could only be started when the player was not yet Nerevarine.
Fixed in "arvisrend - fixes - dialogue.ESP".

(5) If the player forestalls the "Ice Blade of the Monarch" quest, he misses out most of the reward and the directions to the Daedric ruin for the next IC quest.
Fixed in "arvisrend - fixes - dialogue.ESP".

And more (see the text files in the archive).
