Don't expect this mod to work with large overhauls like MGSO or MW Rebirth or other location overhauls. Choose this mod if you want simply more detailed locations that are very close to the original ones. Choose MW Rebirth if you want to experience something completely different. Choose MGSO if you want error messages, oddly mixed textures and loud cat noises.

Besided adding clutter this mod also brings a lot of landscape edits for no sufficient reason. Cells like Gnisis, Vos, Ghostgate and Vivec Telvanni have undergone excessive changes in terrain. Because of this grass mods and some npc-adding mods that touch the same cells seem to conflict with MDP.

It's quite similar to Morrowind Rebirth in terms of compatibility with other mods which is sad because the changes are not that big. I like the mod overall but regret installing it considering the reasons i mentioned.

If you struggling which city overhaul should you pick I say you should try Random Pal's Beautiful Cities of Morrowind. It's really well-made, not hard on performance and includes dozens of compatibility patches for other mods.

Well that sucks, I would've thought that the whole point of this mod was that it JUST added a few more things here and there so that it'd be compatible with everything...

This is a good mod if you want to add a bit more clutter and variety to Vvardenfell without going too overboard in ways that city overhauls can sometimes do. In particular I think it's a good mod to help bridge the gap between the base game and modern fanmade expansions like Tamriel Rebuilt, which generally use a lot more clutter than the original Morrowind did.

Mostly adds things like boxes, rocks and other random objects around, but does throw in a few new buildings here and there. It's nothing excessive, as an example some of the NPCs that wander the streets of Balmora now have homes along the residential district, and there's a single inn out front of Vivec city (just one building, not a whole miniature settlement like some mods would add).

Goes a little overboard on the use of flowers and planters I think (the residents of Vvardenfell never struck me as being such big gardeners), but other than that I enjoy that the changes feel subtle enough to blend in with the rest of the world. Covers a ton of locations so not a great choice for a game with other city/location mods (unless you feel comfortable editing it yourself for compatibility), but a good choice for a lightly modded playthrough.

Thanks for the feedback ! Would the mod go alongside TR, or do they collide ?
Edit : Works fine. Many little conflicts can be solved just by moving things around with the console.
Only real issue being screwed up groundcovers, caused by lands modifications, as they can’t be moved around in OpenMW.

my morrowind load order is super duper light, and i just wanted to come back and say this is amazing, endorse, and thank you. <3

for those curious: morrowind code patch, better dialogue font, graphic herbalism, fair magicka regen, more detailed places, better bodies/heads, apels fire/rain. and thats literally it. highly suggest this mod if you arent a fan of bigger changes and/or like to retain the retro vibe. its seamless honestly, i cant praise this enough.

I can't run mod due to
One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information.
    Object reference "ex_nord_door_01"
    missing in master file.
What can I do about it?

      "Installation

Retail: Extract all content to (Default): Bethesda Softworks|Morrowind|Data Files
Steam: Extract all content to (Default): Steam|SteamApps|common|Morrowind|Data Files"

so I did with 2016 files and seperately 2013 files and it''s still all the same

"This mod does not have any known dependencies other than the base game."

so which expansion I am missing then? smt

You should only install either 2013 or 2016, not both.

The game launches perfectly fine without MDP installed? I didn't think we relied on an expansion, but it would be Bloodmoon based on the missing asset.

I know and I tried this, but it's still the same, doesn't matter if it's 2013 or 2016, I still get the same errors; even if try to run executable game shut down to desktop after loading or starting game

Yes, I played about 60 hours already with other mods and 40 without mods
Solsteim is a part of bloodmoon? if yes then it has to work properly because characters tell me to go there

Try placing MDP at the bottom of the load order.

I really LOVE this mod, it does so well at enhancing vanilla Morrowind without straying from the original game.

Amazing mod, forced to use old versions as they were modular as some places look odd with some of my other mods , wish old single city modifications were updated and bundled with main merged file as an optional town by town install :)

Also single old town files do not cover places like Suran for example, so if you could provide single esps for the remaining towns and villages would be amazing! :D

    Very good mod tho!

Edit: Mod really needs some thorough cleaning, ran it under tes3cmd :

    duplicate object instance: 20
    junk-CELL: 13
    redundant CELL.WHGT: 41

Hope it does not break anything, though it just being a mod to add external objects I think It should be fine

The added details look fantastic, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to use this personally. I'd love to see a modular version for users of other town improvement mods who may want to mix and match.

Hey Zaldiir, not sure if you're still checking this, but is there a possibility of a version that's other mod compatible, no landscape edits or buildings or such? It makes it incredibly incompatible with a lot of mods, but leaving it out of the load order in favor of those after playing with it for a while makes it seem emptier and boring.

Thanks for the effort and the good ideas. It's a pity this is not compatible with Vurt's Ground Covers.
Thank you and have a good time!
