Well with this spell that you will get at the begining of the game will fortify their speed so they won't fall behind. Just cast it on them and they will follow you. The effect will only last a day. Make sure you speed and athletics is not over 100 by a spell, potion or enchantment or else the follower might fall behind. And it requires no magica or skills.

To install just download then extract folder and drag plugin into your data files folder.
WARNING: IF YOU ADDED NEW BIRTHSIGNS THEN THIS SPELLS WILL NOT BE IN THE NEW BIRTHSIGNS, TO ADD THEM IN THE NEW BIRTHSIGNS OPEN UP THE PLUGIN WITH THE NEW BIRTHSIGNS AND THE FOLLOWER SPELL. MAKE THE FOLLOWER SPELL PLUGIN THE ACTIVE FILE. THEN ADD THE SPELL INTO THE BITHSIGNS.
