Great little idea. I'm always looking for mods that add something of value and another structure to cities, and this seems already compatible with BCOM! Looks like you're living up to your name currently Dr. Silent, but hope to see you update this and make more mods!

    Good day.

Well, I'm stuck pretty early here, I expected to find at least ONE of those "rare" books at Jobasha's, but none there. I do not know all the other book sellers in Morrowind. Balmora doesn't have any of those rare books either. I'm gonna see if Ald-Rhun has a librarian, but still surprised I could not find what I needed at Jobasha's...

    Regards,

Alright I cheated and looked in the CS, good luck finding one of these books with a Level 3 character! I'll visit Ald-Rhun I think...

I cannot get enough of these additional content mods. This is done really well, nice location, simple little quest that is always in the back of your mind but not pressing. Good job!

I used this mod in my last playthrough. Everything seemed to work fine. I was using OpenMW v0.43. I have endorsed this mod.

I am now using it again in an OpenMW v0.44 playthrough. Nearly everything is again working fine. The one exception is the tea quests from Ru'hssi.

The first part seems OK: "help Ru'hssi" -> "nori alga" -> locate, harvest and return -> "nori alga" -> 1 portion removed and 1 tea added. The last part can be repeated until all portions have been used. This is exactly as I remember it from the first playthrough.

The next quest stage is where I've encountered a problem. It starts off fine: "help Ru'hssi" -> "pink fern". However, on returning with Pink Fern, the "pink fern" topic does not appear (so tea cannot be made). Removing all Pink Fern from the inventory (just droppping nearby) and talking to Ru'hssi shows the "pink fern" topic; putting the Pink Fern back in the inventory and talking to Ru'hssi again results in no "pink fern" topic.

With Pink Fern in the inventory, using the "help Ru'hssi" topic appears to give the correct response (something like: "You've found nori alga, now need pink fern"); however, the pink fern in the dialogue is not a topic link and "pink fern" is not in the list of topics.

The only thing I did differently from the first playthrough was that I found and harvested some Pink Fern before ever speaking to Ru'hssi (and before harvesting any Nori Alga).

I have since found and harvested all the other tea ingredients in this quest line. A number of the plants have been revisited at various times: they appear to replenish at the same time and rate as other organic containers. So there doesn't seem to be any problems with that aspect of the mod.

I very much doubt that the OpenMW upgrade (0.43 to 0.44) has anything to do with this; however, I mention it for completeness.

A mod conflict could be the cause. The LGNPC: Pelagiad mod is a possibility: I didn't have that installed on the last playthrough. I have the Discoveries And Adventures mod installed (part of which modifies the Pelagiad area) but I had that on the last playthrough, so this would seem to be an unlikely culprit. I can't think of any other likely candidates.

If anyone has also encountered this issue and has any additional information, please share. A fix, or even a workaround, would be even better.

Update: I originally wrote: "I have the Adventurers Guild mod installed ...". That was wrong; my apologies. That's been corrected to: "I have the Discoveries And Adventures mod installed ...". This mod uses Adventurers' Guild to identify quests (Journal entries) and in other places; hence my initial search for the link to post found the wrong mod.

Make sure to have only ONE pink fern in your inventory. I picked all 3. Had all 3 in my inventory. Sold one to her and dropped the other one. So I had one left in my inventory and the "pink fern" topic came up. Late reply, but I just ran into the same problem :P lol

I have kept this mod in my load order since its release, and have enjoyed it on every play through. Nice to have so many books consolidated in one place, to read at one's leisure, and the quests are enjoyable. The location - I think - is perfect.

If anyone is considering using this mod but isn't sure about adding it to their load order, I say yes, install and play this mod; it is well done and problem-free, and enjoyable even if you aren't a reader of the in-game books (well, why wouldn't you be?). A very useful reward comes at the end of the "main" quest of this mod as well. :)
