About this image

Tamriel Rebuilt Rebuilt: Old Ebonheart is a personal mod project aiming to replace Tamriel Rebuilt's city of Old Ebonheart with a more lore-accurate, Dunmer version instead of an Imperial one.
For this end, I have created a completely new architecture set inspired by Old Mournhold buildings from Tribunal expansion. Here's a small sneak peek of it, more screenshots and maybe videos to follow soon. Stay tuned.

Very cool! I do like the imperialized Old Ebonheart though, honestly the best of both worlds would be amazing, like if we could have the dunmer architecture and culture from your mod clash with say another half of the city that's Imperial, would honestly be a very unique take on the city.

So far the plan is to have Mora architecture (this new one) as well as Hlaalu one.

Yeah, but you know, for me the main appeal of morrowind it's its alien and distinct culture, having the main city of the mainland be an imperial colony is very dissapointing and uninspired (not to mention it's not very canon) in my opinion, kind of a let down.

I hope it is built with performance in mind... unlike current OE

Oh, it is. This new architecture will use the Atlas technique, as well as some Morrowind Optimization Patch ones from the get go, I also try my best to properly break up the collision meshes to optimize them as best as I can.

That's good to hear. Would you consider normal mapping for OpenMW users?

Nah, sorry, that does go beyond my current skillset (I suck at texturing) and I'm really not too familiar with OpenMW as a whole.
