About this image

This screenshot comes from Province: Cyrodiil's Island of Stirk, a project that aims to recreate the lands of Cyrodiil in the game-engine of Morrowind, and along with Skyrim - Home of the Nords, forms part of Project Tamriel.

In this screenshot you can see the Imperial Chapel of Stirk, which is dedicated to the goddess Kynareth, as well as the Imperial Governor's Mansion from which the local appointed governor rules over both the city and the surrounding islands. Stirk is both a prosperous, and at times impoverished island, with a large harbor dedicated to trade and shipping, and a significant number of shops, taverns, and upper-class homes, but also a number of lower-class slums with tenement buildings, apartments, and ramshackle abodes. While the city here is sizable, the real draw, at least for adventurers, is the numerous Ayleid ruins to be found on the other side of the island, but either way Stirk is a truly beautiful tropical island well worth exploring for yourself.

Back when the Island of Stirk first released we did a short release trailer for it, if you'd like to check out some more of the scenic landscapes here. Of course, the Island of Stirk is available for public download, and I would highly recommend checking it out and playing it for yourself! And for those interested in the development of Province: Cyrodiil or wanting to help out with the project, you should stop by the Project Tamriel Forums or the Project Tamriel Discord Server to check out the development progress of this amazing and impressive mod.
